They are too old and their established stars aren't going to turn back to clock to their primes and their young guys don't have the highest of ceilings . They would need to west contender contenders to take major injuries and go on a hot streak.

Ok I get that, which is the opposite as the ESPN pundits spun it when the Lakers made all these off season trades for Carmelo, Westbrook, etc. What I don't get though is how little team synergy they have. This team does not gel AT ALL. Its like its the worst possible combination of guys they could have traded for.

If GAyD was an actual top 5 player like everyone in the media thinks he is this team would be ok. But he sucks and he’s soft.

It's Funny to see Chuck unload on Unibrow , Unibrow came to LeBron to ride his coattails people thought it would be the passing of the guard and LA would have prolonged competitiveness because he is still in his prime, but he doesn't have it , he's just an empty 20 and 10 guy that fills up the boxscore , he isn't a leader.

I wonder how many more seasons Lebron will play. We know he won't quit until he passes Kareem for all time scoring which might happen next season? I'm not sure how long he can stomach not being top dog anymore if he's playing seasons with no chance for the Finals.

He's going to Play until his son gets to the league due to Nepotism , Fucking Bern has enough talent to put up 20 5 5 in a limited role , but yeah it's a hit on his ego that he isn't the best player in the NBA anymore, KD and Giannis have wrestled that away from him , even Chef Curry has way more gravity now than LeBron has on the court and being Under Armours poster boy.

Due to nepotism? Is his son not going to be pro caliber anyway? I don't know, I'm just asking. I mean a lot of players have fathers that were in the league. My Mavs have Tim Hardaway Jr. and at least with Lamelo/Lonzo you can see the Ball's are talented.

His son has the makings of a solid role player that would have to earn his way into the league. His path won't be that difficult though because his Dad is LeBron .

LeBron is 37 and the current NBA is way more free flowing, so more running from game to game , whether it be on offense or trying to expend the energy to try to slow those offenses down. He's not going to be able to sustain a high level for multiple games in a row anymore, he had bouts of injuries last season and already a stretch this season, next season or the one after is probably his last.

You late to the party, playboy. Curry been better than Lebron since 2014.

yeah he is clearly deteriorating and showing signs of wear
35 imo is probably the best age to retire on top/prime
hes now basically what mj was past 2001

The fact he is still effective at this age , is due to advances in training and medicine. Bern was pretty consistent with up keep as well , strict diets , cryo , you name it he probably tried it.

But bottom line , you can't stop time

Not that I disagree, I just want to point out that Jordan was the oldest player in history to score 50+ points in a game which he did at age 38 and then he was the oldest player in history to score 40+ in a game, which he did at age 40 multiple times, and in addition to that he is the oldest player in history to average 20+ ppg for a season.

Meh. He doesn’t have the minutes logged like LeGoat has. LeGoat never quit on his teammates and retired twice.

I'm not trying to talk bad about Lebron, at least not in this instance. He has a lot of seasons played and a ton of minutes. Them tires don't have much tread left. Jordan didn't play as many seasons but he played really hard for the seasons he played. MJ played all 82 games an astounding 9 times. Lebron in his entire career played all 82 games once. So although Lebron has more seasons played, there was no load management for Jordan.

If Lebron was really better he would have been able to outsell jordan in terms of shoe sells. But Jordan still outsells him 100 to 1 even though he retired 20 years ago.

gAyDs somewhere in the 10-15 range just ahead of FitP

welp, calling yourself the king and having a crown as a logo is probably not the smartest marketing decision made
