Evan Mobley is back , continuing his ROTY pace. 13 and 9 with 4 Blocks . But more than that , dude his real smooth with and puts great effort on defense, and still has a lot of upside as he gets stronger and adds moves and tightens up his shot.

Curry 36 , Three Pointers away from breaking Ray Allen's Career Regular Season record.

Bucks signing Demarcus Cousins to an non guaranteed contract. Brook Lopez has missed significant time to a Back injury so they want to add Size to their Front Line. Cousins was decent in playoff minutes with the Clips last year . Been an injury plagued early season for them but now they have Holiday and Middleton being more consistent alongside Giannis and on a good streak.

I'm liking Wiggins as the third option, sometimes fourth in this line up. He is playing defense. He seems to be putting more effort instead of just relying on his athleticism.

Except he is a #1 draft pick and he is paid like a first option.

I wonder if some team will give him a max contract again.

Dubs and Suns playing Tues in Phoenix and Thursday in San Fran.

We'll see who's best in the west.

Even money they split.

My worry here is the Warrio's win both and have a clear path to the Finals. Not sure who can stop them if they are playing like this.

Resurrection K.

Just saying.

Lakeshow barely beating the Pistons at home . Unless all of a sudden get much better playing together or make a key meaningful trade , a 1st or 2nd round exit looms for the Prime in 2013 squad.

Not sure that's going to work out long term, he doesn't really play D and that's core to the Bucks identity. Lopez does a lot of work protecting the rim.

But, he does stretch the court, so it'll help on offense and just spelling minutes.

At the very least they need to improve their depth at C. Giannis and Bobby Portis have essentially been playing C since Lopez went down after the 1st game and Portis has missed 5 games himself as well with Giannis missing one. Giannis is the best help defender in the league and it takes away from what he can do defensively when he plays center . Up until this early season injury Bug the Bucks have been pretty healthy under Coach Bud , the long title run too include long series against the Nets , Hawks and Suns probably didn't allow them to come into the fully healthy. Giannis is Mutant so he is the one that held up the best among their Corps of stars.

Middleton had Covid. Brook is 33 and it's his lower back - backs are tricky. Jrue can probably say that he didn't get adequate rest and went straight from the Finals to the Olympics at 31. Portis is still young and didn't play insane minutes in the playoffs or play in the Olympics, I don't think it's a rest issue with his injuries.

Sometimes, it's just bad luck and age, imo. This situation is an example of why depth is important.

We seem to have adequate depth at guard however, with Divincenzo coming back eventually to be a 6th man.

he's already proven he can't lead a team, isn't self-motivated and isn't on pace to develop his skills as needed. The only team that might give him a max is a desperate trash team, and they've seen his Minnesota run, he won't do much to move the needle or get wins. I don't see why they would.

Yeah they just need a big guy who can give an adequate 10-15 mins until Lopez comes back to give the starters a break. Portis has done well starting for him but now they have zero size on the bench. Hard to believe Boogie is 31

Kind of annoying they’ve been super quiet on a timetable on either Lopez or Dontes return, but hopefully they’re back sooner than later. Glad they addressed this need, even if they’ve won 7 straight it was still obvious to do. Like you said guards are ok though, Allen was a great pickup and Connaughton has been good off the bench so missing Donte hasn’t been a huge deal but he’ll make them better for sure
