We will probably never know how he would be as the #2 guy playing PF because he will likely never leave to a good franchise.. I hear he, russel and booker wanna eventually team up. Now there is a line up good for 40 wins and first round exits..

I just really wish we could see how he would do on a good team man, a PF shooting 41% on 8 threes a game.. if only he had a Harden, LeBron or Giannis type point forward and a center that can catch lobs and block shats.

i mean i harp on the 'no D' thing, but a PF can win playing marginal D (see: Dirk's entire career)

but that being said, the entire offensive system has to revolve around that person and they have to at least attempt to move their feet on the PnR while defending

and the coach and other players have to buy in

so it's pretty hard.

It's hard to quantify how disheartening it is to other teammates when a supremely talented guy doesn't even try on Defense. It's virtually impossible to win that way b/c trust erodes, resentment builds exponentially, people don't respect that person's leadership, etc...

You could put prime Curry and Klay on this roster in the unanimous MVP season and the team wins 35 games.
