i read this earlier. Nothing really ground breaking or too scandalous, but definitely interesting inside look at what being in the kawhi business has been like for the clippers. Lots of demands and he values his privacy to a level where if the team said anything to the media that he didnt approve of, he might leave which left the organization in fear. He even withheld his medicals from team usa last summer and when they realized he couldnt practice and was just gonna rest until the games started, the team was like nah that aint gonna fly here and they sent him home.

The clippers gave up SGA and 5 first round picks plus 2 first round pick swaps for paul george because kawhi demanded they get PG13 before he would sign. SO basically it was SGA and 7 first roudners for both PG13 and Kawhi. But still, SGA is the mvp and one of those picks has already turned into jaylen williams and now the thunder are set up for a long time. The article makes it seem like ballmer was nervous about that trade but he really wanted to establish that the clippers were a legit franchise that would no longer be a laughing stock with him as the new owner.

He should have already won at least 1. He averaged 34/9/10, it was one of the greatest individual seasons in history, he came in 3rd in voting. Now that he's a Laker though I'm sure they will be happy to give him one for lesser stats.
