I think Poole has been struggling to find his role on the team ever since Klay came back last year and pushed Poole to the bench. Before that, he was the second to Curry.

Now what is he?

If he's with the second unit, teams just focus only on him. Donte, Jerome, Lamb or whomever will never be a scoring issue for another team. J. Green saved them in the first half tonight, but he may not play for the next 5 games for reasons.

And that's another issue. There's absolutely no consistency in the second unit or with Poole. One game he starts, the next game he's on the bench. One game, he's with Draymond, Donte with the second unit. The next game, he's with Jerome and Kuminga.

Poole has a lot of things he needs to work on. But he's only in his 4th year. Curry didn't look like a hall of famer in 2013. I'm not saying Poole will be better than Steph. I'm just saying Poole seems to be an easy target for sheep who parrot ESPN talking heads.
