NBA NBA Thread: Gamble Gate

Did the nba give up on hack a Shaq? Feels like I haven’t seen it in awhile. I’m watching rockets v wolves and gobert is 2/10 from the ft line and several of them never even came close to the touching the rim. Fans are chanting “air ball” and laughing their asses off. And yet, despite being close game, the rockets never once intentionally fouled. I know they can’t do it in the final 2 minutes off ball, but if a guy can’t draw rim, I’m sending his ass to the ft line every trip
I feel like centers are better free throw shooters across the board nowadays. Not sure what the stats say to back it

The Warriors are so fucking cooked lmao

The Wario's are cooked but hard to feel sorry for them when they had a dynasty. I don't understand what they hope to do by giving up Hield and Kuminga for a guy that is never going to play. Clear cap space I guess, but for what? I guess there could be a deeper trade coming but I guess we'll see.

I don't think they traded for Pingus because they intend to play him as part of a winning roster. If that's their plan the GM should be fired and never allowed to work again.

I doubt anyone is under the illusion that the Warriors are winning with or without Pingus.

It's hilarious that they've wanted a legitimate center for the past decade plus and now have Pingus in 2026.
