The whole load management whining thing is such a load of BS.

90% of the time, if I watch a game, as long as injuries aren’t serious, the top players are on the floor for most of the game.

It was/is a problem with the back to backs, and I've been burned by it with tickets even without that. It'd be better if they just did less games. Shortening the season is never going to happen but it'd be better for the players. Yes, longevity records wouldn't be a thing anymore but for fucks sake its not like 99.99% of players play that long anyways.

Sorry to hear youve been burned, but only time i recall seeing that happen recently with back to backs was LeBron missing games, hes 41 years old and can be day to day anyway regardless. Maybe older guys like KD do but I find that the top players are playing as many games as they can consistently imo.

I think they should stick with 82 games, as a fan I love the fact my teams might play 3 games a week, it adds to the excitement. Most of these guys aren’t playing more than 60 minutes of actual game time play in a week anyway, it’s high intensity, but they’re getting serious money.

He’s better than SGA. Put Giannis on the Thunder, see what happens..

Everyone is constantly ass - kissing good defensive players these days.. well on top of Giannis being nearly unstoppable offensively, he’s an elite defender who blocks, steals and snatches the ball out your hands.. he can guard a wide range of players snd he can run the floor all night. He’s also grown into a great facilitator.

It’s because he’s an African / euro brother, if he was American everyone would be on his cojones hard.

So what should the limitation be? This wasn't much of a problem in the past because players played 82 games a year or at least 70. You want to start handing out MVP's to a guy that plays 45 games?
 
Maybe I'm an idiot, but what is MVP "loading"?

I have no problems with the 65 game rule, would be nice if Jokic can come back from injury in time to be eligible, but honestly awards are pretty silly for the NBA. It, and in turn the fans, are overwhelmingly narrative driven through marketing. Even when politically we were in peak "wokeness" that even seeped into NBA voting big time. Fucking embarrassing

He’s got a marketable personality, hes funny / upbeat and even talks shit.

Case in point is Wemby, yeah the media has been interested, but if he was American, every show would have an hour on him a day. People thought he was going to be a bookish quiet dude but turns out he’s a savage on and off the court, shit talking in the media and bullying dudes on the court.

Everyone talking like ANT is as charismatic as a young Shaq? Really!
?? I don’t see it, yeah hes cool and all, but he’s not that different from a lot of other players in the league..
