NBA NBA Thread: Gamble Gate

People were saying they're the next dynasty because they're so young but I don't see it.

They'll be dominant for a while but they don't have that air of invincibility that the Warios had.

It’s called “aura” and if you don’t think this is aura then you don’t know ball

Anyone else feel like the league has taken another talent jump, the league feels markedly more talented / deeper than it did just two years ago.

Even crap teams like NOP have all star calibre players (often multiple).

The old guard like Bron, Steph and KD still putting up big numbers, you have the current prime players like Jokic, but then a range of pre prime stars coming through that are super talented..

Will only get better in the next couple of years.

There has been a major influx of potential and talent in the league. It might seem a little wonky because the best of the previous era are slowing down and the new crop is coming up. Basketball is only going to get better talent with its world wide appeal and talent pool. Even kids in America basketball is growing, and parents are moving kids away from football, some of that drop off in talent will move over to basketball and only bolster the talent at the lower levels helping raise the best there to the next level.

McCollum isn't toxic. I'm sure the Hawks see that as a win. Trae can empty stat pad and try to convince them to max him. To him that's likely a win.

I think the Hawks win this in the long term. McCollum is an FA after this season. Kispert provides reliable scoring off the bench.
Out of all the players involved I’d only want to keep kispert past this year. At least you can keep him around and not have to give out a horrible deal.

What an amazing first quarter by Luka. Hes going to be exhausted by the 4th though

Carrying these guys.. most of these players wouldn’t normally make a 3rd in the west team as bench guys, let alone starters.

Gotta say, it’s been a tough season for Luka despite leading the league in scoring, but the last couple of games hes been finding his way.
