Did you watch the game? That didn't come out of nowhere, the officiating was awful and they were getting away with all sorts of uncalled fouls on jokic. This was just him making a goofy point. Watching nuggets games is infuriating for me whag feels like half the tjme even when they win because the calls are so bad.

Yea, he's been doing that for 6 years. That's why the people of Dallas are still devastated a year after the trade. There is nobody in the league like Luka Doncic with the exception of Jokic.

I agree, the reffing overall has been rough this season though. Jokic has been surprisingly chill most of the season when it comes to refs/foul calls.

At least when I see the ref that looks like Gucci Mane, I know it'll be a decently called game, anyone else its a mixed bag.
 
That is such a Luka thing to do. Swear me and some of my friends have been joking for years that the reason Luka is so good is because he's on the spectrum.

Yes sir, Jokic makes like $60 million a year or soomething so I think taht's enogh to keep him showing up to work, but yeah, the league still has its Jokic problem. The dude loves to play ethical hoops....



But the league doesn't want to treat him ethically.

Instead they basically brought in the Jokic Rules -- people are allowed to foul him, but he can't foul them. It's the strategy I called out long ago --> foul the shit out of him and make the refs do something about it. The refs clearly don't have issues with letting players of all shapes and sizes mug him and illegally try to prevent him from getting to his spots and hacking him on shot attempts. The guy clearly has one of the worst whistles in the league, so it's funny to see horrible out of context clips like this and people see it and be like "he's a foul merchant too, just like Embiid and SGA".

Their defense has been crazy good, and the misfits are hitting their shots. They just seem very tight as a unit on both ends, which is great. That said, they've had a pretty favorable schedule so far, and have been beating up on a lot of losers. At least they're taking care of business, though, and are proving they're better than the dregs of the league. Not the easiest thing to do for a team trying to break out and prove they aren't as bad as those other bum teams.

It's certainly been nice, but I'm not 100% sold on them quite yet as a legit threat.
