No, he told the Jazz that "life outweighs the game of basketball for me" which everyone thought meant he was going to actually spend time with his family. Instead, he decided to get a job on the opposite side of the country from where his daughter was. Both the Knicks and Nets were willing to sign him, but they were pure garbage. He then pulled the same crap in Dallas so that he could be part of the union to then screw them over to ring chase with the Thunder the next season.
