The media is trying so hard to push KD and Kyrie to the Lakers.

The Lakers should be paying these people they putting in some good PR hours for them.

Mainstream sports media jerks it to the Lakers every morning before work. Last season the Lakers won 32 games and were probably the most talked about franchise all season.

Any guesses on the best Knicks record/seeding is with their new core over the next 3 years?

I'm going to say 42 wins/7th seed.

They could probably get 50 wins. The problem is 50 wins is not really a Championship threat. Most teams that win it all, excluding a few seasons, are 56+ wins. Sometimes a team wins it all with only 52-3 wins but it doesn't happen a lot. I guess it doesn't really matter if they win 40 or win 50, the result is the same.

Maybe I am being a little conservative. Their ceiling with good coaching is probably 48-52, Thibs can really maximize a roster for a season or two before people get hurt. You're right though, likely first round exit

I do not think the Nets are going to get anything significant back for KD. The ownership should tell KD to grab your shoes and play ball, and that you have have four years left on your contract. What is he going to do, sit out for four years? The same with Kyrie. Why do him any favors and send him to the place he wants to go?

Man, Celtics got Brogdon for cheap. If he can stay healthy he’s gonna be a great fit there.

KD is a fool. This guy wants the status of an owner but lacks any semblance of leadership throughout his entire career. He had a generational situation on his lap with the Warriors. A top tier organization with a built in winning culture and the pieces to keep it together for him while he got to just play and win and even be the best player.

But no. He had to have more and what an epic failure. No he has to try and find another team with an already built winning culture that he can rent out.

And the allegiance to Kyrie…what a joke.

Zion got a huge extension, NOLA better hope he can stay healthy.

Potential to be a backbreaking move for a franchise with a good young core. Even if he’s healthy I don’t see them beating Miami, Boston or Milwaukee. At least they’re trying though

People calling KD a bitch act like carrying Westbrick wasn’t a monumental feat for the majority of his career. Let the man rest his back for a couple seasons.
He got to rest skipping to FMVP’s on the most stacked team of all time. That wasnt good enough for him, and now lmao @ what hes done since.

Geez, seriously, fuck you Knicks.

Will never forget in early 2011 after the Knicks got Amare and were having some success. I was in a pizzeria watching the game while I was waiting for someone and the guy next to me told me "you know I think Amares better than LeBron". Dude got hurt shortly after and was a role player the rest of his career.

Unlike Laker and Celtic fans who try to make everything about them(lol at the media making KD's drama about the Lakers) the Knicks and their fans reactions to things are just good fun. Remember last year when they were the 4 seed in the East and they thought they were relevant? It's just so predictable they keep getting burned and they keep going back for more.

I think the Zion move is going to backfire due to his health but I get it from the pelicans stand point. Who is going to go there? Who wants to play for them? Potentially they have a possible generational talent and a media star. If he stays healthy and is good they can lure another star down the line.

Kd is trying to play LeBron GM. Problem is, LeBron has the rings to back up his GM playing and people like him. You don't hear the same about KD.

Rudy to the wolves was out of know where. It might be good though. Slide Towns to the 4 and let him shoot much more
