The GOAT Degenerate had a player who made 6 all nba teams and 7 all defensive teams through 1990 - 1998. While LeGoat had teammates who made 5 all nba teams and 2 all defensive teams in a combined 19 years. But yea, Super teams. lmao

The plumber argument is interesting to watch because it carries forward. First it was Bill Russell won 11 rings because he played in an era of plumbers, then it was Magic and Larry playing in an era of plumbers, then it was Jordan that played in an era of plumbers. Next it will be Kobe/Shaq played against plumbers. See a trend here? The day is coming when people will look back and view LeRoid/Curry as playing during an era of plumbers. Its guaranteed, and also a dumb argument because it poisons the entire well.

Huh? Wad alone made 8 all nba teams and 3 all defensive teams.

It’s not Jordan’s fault that LeBron can’t elevate his teammates the way a true leader would.

I guess man, if you mean the game has more excellent athletes now than say 1960, then yea, it does, but the guys at the top would likely succeed in any era. There are still guys now though that look like they should be driving for Fed-Ex. Lowry looks like he ate a box of donuts before every game. Luka is going to ruin it for everyone because people are going to look back and wonder how a white guy playing in slow motion was averaging 28/9/9 for his career. Many will erroneously conclude he must have been playing against cans.

If by trounces you mean Lebron gets about 2 assists more per game then Jordan, fine, but Jordan was a pure shooting guard. Are you going to apply the same standard to Luka who pretty much averages the same points as Lebron, but gets both more rebounds and more assists per game than Lebron?

you also have to take into account that LeGoat has only been favored in 3 of the 10 finals he's appeared in. meanwhile the goat degenerate was favored in all 6 of his appearances. But leGoat was the one with super teams lmao
 
Interesting how many of these threads wind up being about Jordan vs James for GOAT. Have y'all ever thought of this angle: Jordan was better suited for today's NBA rules (David Stern said his biggest regret was not changing the rules earlier in Jordan's career) while Jame was really built for the old rules.

With the modern rules I say Jordan scores like 45 a game, he's defiantly 10 points a game better than Harden.
