It worked against Jordan in his younger years because he was a one man team. Once he started trusting his teammates more, they beat those Pistons and never looked back. And the Jordan rules' brutality is vastly exaggerated. It was much more about making him work on both ends to simply limit him a little bit and wear him down (the Cavs are already trying to ISO Curry on D every possession and not allowing him to do his usual thing in transition). They sent 3 or 4 people at him if he drove. Try doing that to Steph and leave the 3 other All-Stars wide open all game.Yea silly me, it only worked against the best player of all time. Plus they can't give up their FT advantage, especially by hacking the best shooter ever.
