Native americans

Well, in Canada it is vastly different than in the USA. There is still a huge population of natives and it continually grows. The major problem is that a great deal of them live in isolated places. It is hard to get supplies, proper health care, good jobs, advanced education etc.
I can get my status card if I wanted, though I am mixed from all over the world. . My son in law is full fledged native. I have two very good looking daughters, and they have been out with a ton of guys. This guy is the first one that I have ever thought of as an actual man. I am quite happy with her choice.

I liked reading their lore about the Ant People and the fall of different "worlds".

I also bought a book that is basically a travel guide to their ruins throughout the Ohio valley; I hope to go see some of the most impressive mounds when I'm free to do the road trip.
(Edit: Got myself mixed up. Book is a travel guide to Hopewell ruins not Hopi).

Look at any half white/ half black or brown person and 95% of the time they turn out looking like they don't have a drop of white in them. That means the white gene is weak. You claim to be a scientist yet you can't even make a basic observation.

And why would the looks of a person actually determine any thing about genetics other than they got those particular genes.

Have you ever read The Spell of the Sensuous by David Abram? It's an incredible book, and it talks a bit about native american beliefs such as the northern Koyukon and their concept of "distant time", and the stories they tell. It's a very interesting mixture of philosophy/phenomenology, anthropology, ecology and 'spiritual' writing, I think you would love it.

What if they have the intelligence of that white person? Or the cancer resistance of that white person? But if they LOOK black they only have strong "black" genes?

I'd go as far as to say racism simply doesn't exist up here. It's a non issue, everybody gets along.
 
I visited the US for the first time last September. Had great time in Arizona and other places. Met some natives and they were very cool and friendly people. Sadly being the antisocial being that I am, I didnt talk to them that much. Would have been fun to ask them some questions or just to talk to them bit more
 
As a French Canadian from Québec I tend to dislike them.

The Mohawks were always against us and fought against their own "brothers" by siding with the English.
The Mohawks don t even come from most reserves they live in in Québec, rather the Iroquois people are from the New York state region. The reserves were given to them by French Jesuits. They have absolutely no mysterious "ancestral right" or whatever.

The French lived in relative harmony with most native tribes. Intermarriage was encouraged. These are facts. Sorry Mohawks, you chose the wrong euro to side with and now we're all fucked.

Oh and speaking of Iroquois. They wiped out the Hurons, and pretty much the only descendants left of them in the Québec city region were, again, given that land by the French. The Hurons come from the great lakes region and NOT the Québec region. They were refugees. And the French helped them. Yet today they will side with the Mohawks and hate us.

So all in all, I don't feel the slightest fart of historical guilt.

Too bad that American identity politics was imported in Québec. Most of these people think we are their historical enemies just due to skin colour, but they forget that the French were also at war with the English.

Their ignorance of history is an insult to their own ancestors who were our allies.
