Guys after watching these interviews with Nate, he just comes off so much better than nick (and conor) - he has this relaxed no bullshit attitude, but still light and joking around sometimes, yet has a quasi-street attitude toward the ufc and fighting.

He is very endearing despite being a bit belligerent - its a perfect mix. He connects with the retarded thugs, but also with the regular normies.

also, its perfect timing in his career - he is not too old but still has tons of experience - felt hard losses and wins, and has this mature view of his own power and weakness. Nate has the Roman characteristic of equanimity. It is a nice contradistinction to the immortal view of himself conor had. Even though, it took conor to put nate into the highlight like this.

On the other hand nick, although savant in similar ways - and laying the path down for nate, doesn't have the same empathy or IQ. He rambles in his interviews, and seems to lash out alot more - in some ways he is his own worst enemy. nate's relaxed demeanor seems to cure the bad aspects of nick.

Nate is superseding nick and will ascend until he loses against another non-titled fighter.

Nah Nick is much more entertaining. And unintentionally more funny too.

fightwise, hes gonna have to do better than a sub against a 145er in order to be in the vicinity of Nick Diaz.

Yeah, this isn't the first time people have been saying this only to change their tune next time Nick/Nate fight.
Nate is great but i feel Nick is superior in most regards.

EDIT: Scratch that, i missed the point of the OP

this is true - nick is funny unintentionally, and he gets even more flustered and funny because he doesn't understand why people are laughing

Nate has come into his own and learned how to play the game.

He has temporarily embraced the public venue, to promote himself. Very smart marketing on his part.

Nick is the better fighter, but a little more anti-social.

I see your point. While Nick is the better fighter, I think Nate is a much cooler person to hang out with. Nick just seems to be cantankerous 24/7. Also, someone should collect Nate's ramblings, there are some truth bombs and often poignant ones as well.

Would you agree that the younger brother is more mature in this situation, even if the younger brother adores or still looks up to his older brother like some superhero?

Did you really just use the word savant in a description of Nate or Nick?

Common now. Remove the balls from your mouth.

i feel like their relationship has cooled a little, just by the way nick talks

You could say he's more mature, or just better equipped to handle the public venue, with cameras & microphones in his face.

People that have met Nick (off camera) pretty much ALL say he is super personable and friendly. So it may be that he just can't handle speaking on cue.

We'll only know for sure once Nate knocks out both Robbie Lawler and Paul Daley.

I'd say Nate finally reached Nick's level of stardom.

If you think Nick and Nate are similar fighters, you don't know what the fuck youre watching.

I didn't understand $hit. LOLOL! Seems like he kinda threw Nate under the bus in the beginning by being hypercritical and comparing what Nate does and what he does. Insecurity?

I love how Ariel just let Nick ramble on and on.

Since when is public speaking skills a determining factor for IQ?
