Gomi was on a roll? Maybe a roll downhill faster than the speed of light

Think you're wrong here

I think you’re wrong . By the time Gomi got to the ufc and fought Florian he was waaaaaayyyyyy passed him prime and even the pride never die fans knew it. He had some nice flashes of his old self when he ko’d Tyson and got robbed by Diego but other than that no one was giving him a chance in that Diaz fight

Just looked at his record and he was coming off a loss to Guida in a fight he got dominated in (if I remember right) . Not sure what “roll” you’re referring to

Are you getting nick confused with Nate ?

Ok,don't jump all over me...if i remember, gomi fought diaz second/third fight in ufc...so gomi was 20-3? anyways, nate was flawless in that fight..and remember how nick struggled against Gomi

Man, Gomi's fire was his younger years in Japan. UFC were trying to capitalise on Japanese and Korean fighters who had already show decline but were still popular for marketing.
2000 - 2006, he was lightning. Even though he won a couple of times in '08, watching him was showing some minor signs.
When he was in the UFC, even when he knocked out Griffin, it was like watching a guy who just knew he was passed his sell by date but going for broke.

Nate vs Gomi and Silva vs Leben are my favorite examples of near flawless victories...

Nick struggled against a prime fucking Gomi that was considered the #1 lightweight in the world at the time they fought and was a big underdog .

Sure Nate was flawless in that fight but so was kenflo and Guida when they fought him

I remember Rogan screaming that Nate had the best boxing in MMA after throwing a bunch of jabs

I think you're confusing Nick with Nate???

So nate was great in that fight? thanks

That's 1 of 2 of his good wins. Nate WAS never great. He gets raped by everyone in the Top 15.

All wins over legends and good wins.. , but Gomi wasn´t "Gomi" at this moment. :(
