Movies Name the latest movie, that makes it in your top 10

This thread reminds me how shitty movies have been

The last installment of Guardians was possibly the best marvel movie I’ve seen yet

A foreign movie called Desire (aka Q) available maybe not rated on Apple TV digital. For some reason they splice in short locker room scenes where pretty much all the women are fully nude and very fit.

Maybe Good Will Hunting, not even sure if that's in my top 10 , might be just outside

If not I guess it's Goodfellas, everything else would be 70s or 80s

i don't remember. i'm so boring i rarely give new stuff a chance, i usually go back and rewatch the old.
That's sensible not boring, if you never watch a new movie again you're not missing anything

Title says it all.

What is the most recent movie (in terms of release date) that makes it in your top 10 of all time?

For me, it's probably Interstellar (2014). I know it's not for everyone, but easily in my top 10, probably top 3.

Other than that, everything else in my top 10 would be before 2010.

Same with me Interstellar is up there in my top 10.

Inglourious Basterds (09) and Django Unchained (12) come very close, but it's probably O Brother Where Art Thou? (00).

Interstellar for me too ironically enough. First movie I thought of when I read the title of your thread.

I am a huge Indiana Jones/National Treasure fan so i would have to say the most recent that makes it in my top 10 is Fountain of Youth.

Let's see

The 36th Chamber of Shaolin 72'
The Empire Strikes Back 80'
Predator 87'
Bloodsport 88'
Heat 95'
Good Will Hunting 97'
The Matrix 99'
Memento 00'
Training Day 01'
The Dark Knight 08'

Top Gun Maverick and Infitnity Wars are recent honorable mention.
Quebec language version of Slapshot destroys all these movies

I am a huge Indiana Jones/National Treasure fan so i would have to say the most recent that makes it in my top 10 is Fountain of Youth.
Another movie that I really wanted to like and couldnt get into.

I feel the need to add Edge of Tomorrow to my list (2014). Went in with no expectations and came out really impressed.

No Country For Old Men (2007)

All-Time (personal)

10. No Country For Old Men
9. Taxi Driver
8. The Empire Strikes Back
7. One Flew Over The Cuckoo's nest
6. Straw Dogs
5. 2001: A Space Odyssey

4. Pulp Fiction
3. Once Upon A Time in the West
2. Raging Bull
1. The Godfather

I'll throw down 2 movies that made me sob uncontrollably inside and shed a single tear:

Ford vs Ferrari - This might make my Top 10/ Definitely best racing movie
Killers of the Flower Moon - Great real life movie - Probably a very underrated flick

Honorable mentions (also felt these):

A man called Otto - Probably doesn't make top 10 but its good, and shows why Grumpy old men become Grumpy old men.
Joker - Displays mental health issues and how people turn evil pretty well
