Movies that had a decent budget when released and state why they would not dare to make them today.

Or why no one would dare to fund them today.

I think this did big box office in the 90’s if I recall correctly.

Not sure but FUBAR is bigly underrated and has to be Canadian...
 
Some David Cronenberg and Atom egoyan movies would not be made just because they are too weird.
The odd sex in them wouldn't be a stopping point.
 
Not that it couldn't be remade (it has been already, horribly so) but the original Black Christmas would probably fuck up most Gen Z kids from that first phone call scene alone. Also Margot Kidder's character wouldn't be able to say that shit at the end nowadays.
