that sucks about unibet sounds pretty pathetic, I know 5dimes never took my money away for betting a guy +300 on reduced while the fight was still going in 3rd round, I even put in a 3rd bet just before the guy sunk in a choke, maybe since they were really small bets they didn't care/notice because i only ended up winning like 15$. I remember everyone here telling me not to do it again and that they would take the money away but I only did it because someone mentioned it was on there still but I probably won't do it again. Has nothing to do with your shit though saying that +500 by decision is an obvious error like yea fucking right, sounds pathetic
im also on rosa and taimanglo

Unibet is known as a rogue sportsbook among the more educated bettors here in Sweden but still have a large share of the casual player market.

I will admit that I sometimes still play at Unibet just because they can have great openings or really good prop odds. But from now on I am never going to play there again. There have been so many threads about Unibet claiming they're stealing and scamming players. Can't believe Unibet is worth 7 billion SEK. A mafia-like sportsbook beeing the biggest player in the scandinavian market.. eyes roll. Even sportsbooks with headquarters in obscure countries treat players better.

Mo's price will go up even if he got koed... i think it may reach -500..hope im wrong.. but i see mo winning the match using his wrestling and being less arrogant

My money would be on Mo moving up. Despite the KO, he's a better fighter and a bad stylistic match up for Newton. I think Mo fights very conservatively standing and takes it to the ground immediately. From there, it gets ugly for Newton.

9-4 against Galvao at that tournament during that run is pretty impressive. I would call it a close match. Difference of opinion, I guess. He clubbed Galvao a couple times but not any harder than in any college wrestling match. It also had no effect on the match. Avellan incident really isn't relevant to this conversation, unless you think Avellan was going to beat Palhares.

Have you even seen it? He tried to bend Galvao's thumbs backwards several times aswell, he was warned for it TWICE atleast.

He should have been disqualified for the Avellan thing, if the ref hadn't been a complete tool.

Dude is a disgrace what he does has FUCK ALL to do with any martial art.

You know what this conversation was about right? It's whether Ben would choose to go to the ground with Palhares or not. Its not about whether Palhares is a disgrace or not.

I'm on all of those same picks as well besides Marquardt/Lombard.

Yeah I think Lombard will win but Marquardt is one of my favs so that is who I am going with... with no money on the line anyway. Only money I put on this event was Cain and DC winning.

rille31 and arrelione I don't think you should let go. Unibet is outright robbing you guys I would suggest you to call them and record the phone call. Ask them to explain exactly why they're screwing you they will probably slip or not be able to give a good answer.

Make a thread about it on Flashback and it might go viral, atleast hurt their business. Unibet should go bankrupt, bunch of dickheads.

I sent them a long email, ripped me on more then 3000 sek thats almost 500us
I find it wery fishy that they first marked my winning bets as losses, theoretically I could place bets on ewery single possible outcome and loose ewery bet

hockey friday

looks like a few backups are playing today.. greiss for phx, zatkoff nhl debut for pitt, poulin for nyi, clemmensen for fla, and khabibulin for chi

playin the over on pitt-fla now

i like LA & the under on LA-carolina, and maybe the over on dallas-winnipeg

I dislike King Mo a lot, it's been documented in this forum because Crewman got all butthurt about me saying shit about him, but King Mo should dominate Newton. He's better everywhere.

Aside from Marcelo, off the top of my head, the only other high level guy I can think of is Pablo Popovitch. Pablo subbed him really quickly at ADCC (I think it was less than a minute, could be wrong). Yeah it's true Marcelo tools everyone, so I won't hold that too much against Ben. But that's what I was talking about, high level guys have humbled him in the past. So it's probably made Ben realize he's vulnerable to submission specialists and Palhares is as dangerous with his leg locks as Marcelo with his guillotine or any other high level guy (proven last ADCC when Palhares subbed his way to the finals and put up a close fight against against Galvao in the finals).

As far as drawing Sinistro, Sinistro was a purple belt at the time just like Ben was. If they had another match today, I would expect the same result or Sinistro to be beat Ben soundly since Ben has to split his training in different arts while Sinistro does BJJ all day everyday. Now put today's Sinistro vs today's Palhares in an ADCC rules match, I think Palhares would be a pretty big favorite.

Is it possible that Ben is closing the gap in submission wrestling against high level bjj guys? I guess so, but it's also possible that he's been focusing more on his striking and mma. I don't know a ton of his training schedule so I'll admit I'm just making assumptions. But regardless of how Ben would do against Sinistro, Marcelo, or Pablo today, I still don't think he would initiate a grappling match with Palhares if they ever fought.

Good points, but consider...Belcher, one of his good friends and training partners, initiated a grappling match against Palhares. We saw how that turned out.

King Mo should have opened at -850 imo. He's proven his worth in Bellator.

I have Pittsburgh -1 for 1.5 units, and .5 unit on Pittsburgh -1.5

NHL Question:

Are the odds for the 1st 60 min just counting on the game not going to overtime? So if I bet Penguins -1/2 (1st 60 min) the wager only loses if the penguins lose or the game goes to overtime, correct?

Picking the "1st 60 min" for any team means: You're betting on one team to win within regulation, which is 3 periods (60 total minutes). If the game goes to overtime, you automatically lose your bet. If the team you're betting against wins in regulation, you lose your bet.

----------

Firas Zahabi on GSP potentially retiring sooner, rather than later:

"George told me if the occasion should retire after this fight. If he still has the motivation for another training camp, it will continue. Otherwise, he will take his retirement."

According to Firas, motivation has never been a problem in the past for St. Pierre and is indeed highly motivated for his upcoming bout against perhaps the most powerful puncher he's faced inside the Octagon.

"Motivation is the most important thing. When you do not have it, you have nothing. Georges is motivated for this camp. He trains well. We need to train and train all day long, it is not easy, it's really something. It takes a special mind to do the ultimate fighting."

I guess I'll be betting GSP/Hendricks won't go the distance, just in case GSP wants to finish a fight before he retires, or GSP makes a mistake and Hendricks lands a big punch.

I think GSP has a good chance of finishing Hendricks in round 4/5 if he's able to implement his usual strategy for the first 3 rounds. Although, I've said this before, and wasted money, so who knows.

how do you guys think this line moves?

I think that's a good price for Mo.

How do you like the Dodson line? I haven't seen Montague before

And how has sportsinteraction been for you? I had a football future once disappear and my email receipts turned off without me doing so once. They straightened it out fast though. I've had some other minor issues not often which they fixed promptly

I thought this would be a good weak to take it easy on Bellator after a mini slump, ala a hitter taking a day off. Also, it's a pretty bad card for betting. That said, I'll be placing a few very small wagers, those being $5 on Rosa to make $20, $5 on Taimanglo to make $20, $5 on Ambrose to make $20, and $5 on Pitbull/Guerreiro under to make $5. Zayats has lost to too many random fighters to be that big of a fave, even though I think he'll win. Taimanglo is more technical than Wilcox and doesn't have as much of a physical disadvantage as his last, but still has one, so he probably loses. Rickels can't dictate position very well, and that's typically what causes Ambrose to lose. And Pitbull, I'm just trusting to hunt down all but the elite right now. I'll probably lose money, but it's only 15-20 bucks.

I've used them for a while now and in terms of the service I don't ever have any issues that aren't cleared up rather quickly. The only real issue I have is the excessive juice they have on their lines, like the new King Mo and Newton odds, those are likely to not even change up to fight time whereas sites like 5dimes you would see something like +220/-240 type of thing but with SI you get +220/-333 and it makes it really hard to make money especially when you are taking favourites. Sometimes their props come out with good odds and I will jump on certain ones but in terms of money line bets they are pretty terrible unless they come out with lines before other books like when they opened Mendes as only a -250 favourite to Guida.

Once I build up a big enough BR to warrant cashing out I think I'm just going to move on to 5dimes for the reduced juice and early openers, SI is a bit of a drag in those aspects. Again the customer service is pretty good and I have not had major issues with payouts or anything like that.

NFL futures:
Just a heads up.

Denver to win the AFC is @ -110

Thy are 5-0 and by FAR the best team in the NFL & in another universe compared to other AFC teams. The only other team w. a realistic shot IMO is the Patriots who you could hedge w/ @ +500

If you put $110 on the Broncos to win $100 & $30 on the Patriots as a @ +500, I guarantee you'd make either $70 or $40 and most likely $70.

I know it's a while off but Denver will likely be -400 in 3 weeks.

I think they have an 80 percent chance of winning the AFC

80% chance of winning the super bowl? Lol
They are the best team in the NFL right obviously, but the playoffs are 10 weeks away still. A lot can happen in that time frame, and to say a team has an 80% chance to win it is dumb imo.
