If players were taking a knee to stand up for Colin Kappernick, I would understand.
If they were doing it to protest institutional injustice, I would disagree but understand.

The real reason they're doing this is to spite Donald Trump. The vast majority of these players only took a knee after Donald Trump said they shouldn't. That's childish reverse psychology.

If Trump said not to cut off your hand, would you cut off your hand?
If Trump said not to back-hand babies, would you smack some babies?

That they're defying their national anthem just because Trump said they shouldn't is immature.

Where was your "solidarity" at the beginning of the season when Kappernick wasn't resigned? That was the time to take a stand (knee).

Big Donald has rustled millions. Fair play to him.

It's..

almost like they're playing themselves right into Trump's ever loving hands?

When your president refuses to acknowledge the racial injustice these players are feeling then any point is the right point to take the knee. Some players may not have agreed with Kaepernick but players are kneeling for individual reasons.

So our president is so petty that is trying to piss off athletes? I don't get it, doesn't he have presidential things to do?

9 times out of 10 the people who everyone throws a fit about being shot end up PROVEN to be in the wrong. Reaching for pockets, brandishing weapons, attacking police outright, ect...what is the end game for these protests? to allow black men to do whatever the fuck they want with utter impunity?

Shouldn't you be in school?

Renting space in people's heads: It's what he does.

There is no racial injustice, it's a political narrative. No data supports the idea of 'open season' on black people by police.

Rush says it all the time, Trump holds the media in the palm of his hand.

It was probably in a Prez meeting recently where somebody said: "we need CNN to be distracted while we get our N.Korea war plans into line."
Somebody said, "just call Kap a son-of-a-bitch."
"Done." Wall. To. Wall.

Nobody said open season. Go on youtube and watch a couple videos of police killing unarmed black men. Then come back and we can have a discussion

Trump spoke the truth, you should stand for the national anthem, the USA is a great country full of opportunity. Respect and show gratitude for that.

And the leftist athletes and NFL doubled down by kneeling more.

But it was good to see some teams stand up for the anthem.

Yes how presidential to call people names. I forgot though, Trump loves the poorly education and they love it when the president comes down to their level

Racial injustice they're facing? Please stop trolling.

Are you a mind reader?

Individual reasons like what? To be spiteful? The reason for them to be sincere about about kneeling for injustice has long passed.

Trump was pretty to suggest that NFL players be fired for taking the knee during the national anthem, but those previledged asshole are now taking the knee for the sake of ego which is just as petty.

There is nothing noble about this situation.

So your evidence is Youtube? Here some stats. Police killings were down 25% in 2016, only 164 of them were black which was half the number of whites and only 16 of those were UNARMED. So 16 unarmed killings out of 1.5 million cops in the US is .001%...that is what you are calling 'racial injustice'. Like I said, it's a political narrative pushed by the far left.

OP, don't expect much from humanity, we are a bunch of opportunist crybabies
