Hi all,

I recall that there were a couple of threads here and there that were about Poker. I also replied to a thread this morning regarding your short term goals. My post was to run my poker account deposit from $500.00 (USD) to $2,000.00 (USD) or more. I am not a professional, never have been, but I have been playing on and off for almost 4 years. I will be playing a few hours each day.

I will use this thread to update my progress and also would like to welcome feedback and discussion about myself or poker in general.

So I deposited $500.00 on April 13, 2013. Today I started with 786.66, I play four tables of 25NL (.25/.10) and any feedback is welcome.

The common misconception is that online poker in the United States is "banned." It's only the 3 major ones that got in trouble (Full Tilt, PokerStars, UltimateBet) for using shady methods of banking for personal gain.

There's still LockPoker, America's Card Room, and etc.

He's probably playing with a proxy or he's playing on a US friendly website, like on the Merge network.

But I think he plays on Stars, because they have 25NL games.

I won 7th place in a free roll tourney with over 8,000 participants. I won $2.00, turned that into $800.00. Then I lost it all in 1 day! lol

I used to play down there when I first moved here. Pretty good players. I'm an old man now and can't justify dropping 1k every weekend anymore. I still get the itch every now and then, though.

Ended session with 733.67, not bad considering how I've been doing the last two days. I feel that I might be a bit too call station like. I called a guy all the way down with 99 on a board of 3 3 8, he had AA, and I felt he had AK for some reason.

Will update some more, gonna sleep soon probably and get ready for my night job. Hope all you sherdoggers are doin well.

- Players aren't always bluffing when they bet huge.

Started this session with $733.67 and ended with $812.07 for the day. Got out of bed cause I couldn't sleep and picked up KK on a scary board, got paid max value. Flopped a set, boat on the river and got paid max.

Then flopped bottom set and played all my premiums to the max, almost a four buy-in upswing. Feelin' great!

I have to try to sleep now because I'm working tonight and after work, I have a dentist appointment (just cleaning).
