My impression of the Jones/OSP fight was that Rumble would likely KO Jones. Agree or Disagree?

Who would you pick between Jones and Rumble after watching the OSP fight?

Gotta see, Jones toughest fight IMO.

As far as just tonight goes, Rumble would've given him some problems. OSP cracked Jones with a right hand that sent his snot flying. Imagine if Rumble hit him with that. Even with that being said, Rumble would've faded a lot quicker than OSP if he couldn't land the big shot.

In general, this fight needs to happen already. Tough fight for Jones but I still think he gets it by submission. He's well rounded enough to outlast Rumble and tire him out.

the rusty slow jon that showed up tonight - I say anthoy's best chance was tonight.

lool Rumble would gas early second. I would give him a punchers chance in first rd and thats about it

If Jones were forced into a situation where he had to fight Rumble with the same strategy and preparation he had for OSP, sure.

Jones looked rusty and he also looked content to win passively from the center of the cage. Tonight would've been a good time for Rumble to get that fight, though I think Jones would've fought a bit differently. Not expecting to see this Jones again, especially against Rumble.

It would've been a far better fight at least, Rumble would've forced Jon to do something.

it also depends on which rumble shows up. the walking destroyer . or the discouraged the minute something isn't going his way version

jones because i think this was a fluke version of him. If he fought like this i think rumble would sent him to another realm

Yeah. That was my point with the thread. I think if it was Rumble instead of OSP then Jones would have been in a world of trouble.

Osp would get a nice shot to back up Jones but wouldn't follow it up, Rumble would go for the Ko or gas trying.

Maybe Jones needs his free-wheelin lifestyle to feel the funk,

Rumble didn't want that fight, he wanted to get his teeth fixed not knocked out by elbows..

Jones looked a shell of his former self

Lets not pretend that osp beat bader or glover. Lets not pretend osp hasnt had cardio issues his whole career, lets not pretend he had a training camp

Osp is not a top teir lhw and wasnt even prepared. Jones was in comtrol of that fight but his ouput was abysmal and so was the amount of damage he did for the first 19 minutes of that fight

Jones looked seriously shook at the presser and trying to manufacture some spin. He knows he wasnt himself out there

Expect a more Jones like performance in his next fight. Ring rust is a bitch and why I think GSP needs a gimme fight on his return.
