I'll snap some pictures tomorrow and try to upload them. I'm only ever on this site with my phone so I've never tried to upload any.
I'd almost write this all off completely if it wasn't for the weird drawings they're not just scratching from an animal. I'll snap a pic of the creepy ass door to the third room too. Its nailed shut with several thick boards and 2 padlocks. I asked the landlord what's in there and she said nothing....then why board it up?

Next, like someone said earlier, put cameras or recording device down there.

Next and if everything is confirmed, get a medium or priest to come communicate/blessed the house

Personally, I would set up a camera on a tri-pod and run video in the area where you are getting the writing/ scratching on the ground for a few days. Don't do any kind of communicating though. I'm sure it'll probably be rodents or something explainable. If you are religious orsupersticious you can have the home blessed and hang a horse shoe over the main entreeway for good luck

When your dogs start acting strange and not wanting to go near or into places, there's some shit in there.......seriously. I remember when I went to Japan to visit my girlfriend's father's (which passed away recently RIP) and we had to go into a building with his ashes. She had her dog with her, dog was staring inside and didn't want to go near the door/building. I went in there also and had this cold feeling when I was walking around in there.

Also, do not communicate with them and move out
