My dad just witnessed a shooting - Update

Well he didn't exactly see anybody get shot right in front of him but about 10 minutes ago I got off the phone with him, he was dropping my sister off at our moms place and he said as soon as he pulled in front of the house he heard 4 loud gunshots. Sounded pretty close so he told my sister to get down, as he was trying to locate exactly where they came from about 4 houses down on the other side of the street he saw a group of black guys cook it out of a house. He phoned 911 and I think he's probably speaking to them right now, he said he'll phone me back in a bit. Not sure if anyone is dead at this point and I'm hoping not, this is pretty unsettling. I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba and there is gun violence here but it's not very often. Also my mom lives in a pretty good neighborhood in the eastside of the city. I'll keep you guys updated

This is the douchebag who shot the people

The Winnipeg Police Service has arrested Haben Nipsey Weldekidan, 22, after a shooting on Hazel Dell Avenue by Henderson Highway around 4 a.m. Sunday morning.

Police say a group of people were at a home, when an argument outside escalated.

According to police, a suspect discharged a firearm, striking three people.

Nobody died thankfully.

I used to live in a shitty neighborhood. At least once a year you'd hear gunshots in the distance, only to find out in the newspaper the next day that someone in the neighborhood got killed.

I never actually saw anything though. Probably would've freaked me the fuck out.
