Just thought I'd share this if others are looking for cheap ideas for home workouts. Prices are in Cdn dollars so it's probably inflated by about 30% relative to USD. In total it cost me less than $400, maybe $300 in the US.
Exercise ball - $25 (basically replaces the need for flat & incline adjustable benches + you can do hyperextensions, abs and other stuff on them or elevate feet during pushups.
Vertical bench - free - I just use my laptop chair for shoulder press or overhead dumbell press
Mini-trampoline - $60 - for cardio, the weather isn't always good and u can get decent cardio by hopping around at home. Lower impact on joints than using a jump-rope.
Adjustable dumbell - $240 - I got the Bowflex one that goes up to 52.5 lbs. But only one dumbell not two, I just do one limb at a time. Yeah it's not very heavy for some exercises so I do slower and higher reps. Unless you're a typical Sherdog monster you can make 50 lbs per limb go a long ways with slow & high reps for compound stuff and tbh I almost never went over 50 lbs for isolation stuff when the gym was open.
Door-frame chinup bar - I think $30 (bought before pandemic)
Pushup handles - I think $20 (bought before pandemic) - gives more range of motion because you can touch your chest on the floor while your palms are higher than the floor.
For quads I do a lot of one-leg squats, no weight needed, just a chair for the bottom position and something touch with one-hand for balance.
Most exercises get done thanks to the dumbell, they look to be hard to find now but hopefully they become more available again. I got mine in mid-March when they were still plenty. Otherwise try resistance bands.
