My big stupid hype trains thread.

Blazo Nikolic 5-0 today defeats Fabien Xabidi by unanimous decision.

No , don't be sad. We love you, but let me be a dick too. How is Amru Magomedov not on the list? And Habirora? Didn't he lose to Ioan Harris? Where's Salamat Isbulaev? Ephoeviga? Jay Jay Wilson isn't the guy. Christian Lee is under 30 by the way? I'd say stay away from Bellator/PFL guys too It dilutes the contribution.

I agree with you about Lee and Amru... Isbulaev and Ephoeviga doesn't have any notable win when I made this list. Habirora has room for progress, seems like best athlete of all young prospects.

Ephoeviga beat Emmanuel Sanchez and Yuhi Fujinami, probably better wins than anything Habirora has done honestly..isbulaev has a far better amateur career and beat a similar level of opponents pro so far, is more active too. Same for Ioan Harris basically (though Harris might lose to the 22yo Dagestani he's facing this month) Also was Bojkovic not on your list? That's madness. Damian Rzepecki deserves a nod over multiple dudes on your list too and he's only 23. Albert Gukov? Kade Ruotolo? Juan Pablo Viera? Parnasse and Keita to me, their potential truly lies at 145lbs as it is....eh I think Isbulaev should be at 145 too. If you do want to do Bellator guys, Archie Colgan is another guy who's better than many you listed, Darragh Kelly etc.

There's a bunch of guys. Bojkovic and Amru are the literal firs two that come to mind though.

I do this list 5 may 2024.
Ruotolo then is focused on grappling, Ephoeviga doesn't have one decent fighter on his score, I don't believe in polish prospects out of KSW. I am from Balkan, Bojkovic has multiple injuries before, if he stay healthy he can do big things in his career. https://www.tapology.com/profiles/clown be covington/my-rankings/6173-lightweight-prospects-outside-ufc
I watch for 5/10 years from now... I know it's crazy to expect Habirora to be UFC champ, but he have fan base, great manager, athleticism to reach the highest level.
I definitely didn't put too much effort into the list, I just put people who I think have a high ceiling.

BONUS fighters are bois.

I have been keeping an eye on this kid for a while now. His grappling is already dominant and he just turned 20. I have some concerns about his striking and I'd like to see how he handles adversity, but he has tremendous potential IMO. Great fight IQ for such a young fighter.

At the Samourai MMA show last night he submitted his 4-0 opponent with less than ten seconds to spare after dominant performance. Slick armbar from guard.

Looking forward to seeing more from him. Adam Posener. Remember the name.
