News MVP is a free agent

Five years ago I would’ve been hyped for a potential MVP signing to the UFC, now…
<{vega}>

UFC probably doesn't need him. They will give him an offer but it will most likely be too low for his liking. Page is probably going to PFL. Bellator not willing to hold on to him also shows that the promotion is willing to save money. I always felt Coker spent too much on making fights and the return wasn't enough.

MVP should have options here. Really depends on his motivations where he ends up. If he isn't concerned with a UFC run at 36 years old and just wants to make some money, he's the kind of guy who could end up anywhere. Karate pedigree probably makes him slightly appealing to the Asian promotions. PFL has a rival in waiting and a fight that would probably draw to a degree in Western Europe in Doumbe. He could always just re-sign with Bellator. Wouldn't even rule out KSW here.
Has Doumbe an opponent decided for PFL Paris is September? If not, that would be a great fight.

The card is in France, they're gonna give him a showcase fight. Doumbe isn't going to be matched with someone who has a very good chance to beat him like MVP. He's gonna fight some cab driver that likely gets smashed quick.

UFC will 100% be interested in MVP. A guy who already has a name who's an exciting fighters and also talks well?

Most interesting Bellator free agent for them since Chandler.

Damn the guy who runs the promotion is trying to spin it into a positive. You must be a very gullible individual. If there is such interest then why didn’t ESPN renew?
We have no reason not to believe that the company who just signed Francis Ngannou with rising ratings has significant interest. What he says seems plausible. But you already know the answer, right?

Rising ratings? Lol

Jarrah Al Silawi was far from a cab driver, arguably more dangerous. I think MVP is a great matchup for Doumbe.

Or MVP vs Michel Pereira.

Yeah would love that too. There are a lot of fun stand up opponents for him in UFC. Just hoping they don't toss him to some grapplers that would suck.

We have seen untouchable Lombard, Askren, Brooks and even Chandler (only beat fighters on a 3+ loss slide) not do well in the UFC. Eddie was hot and cold but he is a lot more than just a Bellator fighter.

MVP would lose to most ranked fighters. Just look at his resume.

"Davis says that PFL viewership is up 35% year over year on ESPN channels."

I know, the CEO says it, so it must be true, but if the numbers didn't bear that out, you would think he would be called out. Again, I ask, did you even read the article?

Lol called out by who? MMA media? Dana white says a ton of shit and no one calls them out. Also the published ratings don’t know any of that but no one gives a fuck about PFL enough to prove them wrong
