News MVP is a free agent

Its not like he was boring while at it tho, he lost his share of fights at the top but he can still take his can crushing to the UFC and see how he does against some strikers, why not.
The UFC has less interesting fighters who also lose their fair share of fights..... no reason not to sign MVP. Depending on his asking price.

UFC will get a good ROI on him with favourable matchups and marketing him as an action fighter. He’ll be fringe top 10 today at 36 but his fights are must see TV.

He might win some fights in the PFL but not the tournament.

He should avoid the UFC like the plague.

Yeah people need to think this through, how many ranked welterweights is MVP going to be competitive against? They would barely be getting their money's worth out of MVP, he's not going to highlight reel KO ranked welterweights like he did these puffed up lightweights in Bellator.

He should stick to crushing cans in Bellator if possible because man is he good at it. There's can crushers and then there's can crushers and this guy absolutely obliterates fools. Fun to watch.

MVP should have options here. Really depends on his motivations where he ends up. If he isn't concerned with a UFC run at 36 years old and just wants to make some money, he's the kind of guy who could end up anywhere. Karate pedigree probably makes him slightly appealing to the Asian promotions. PFL has a rival in waiting and a fight that would probably draw to a degree in Western Europe in Doumbe. He could always just re-sign with Bellator. Wouldn't even rule out KSW here.

And it's not like signing MVP is going to attract many new fans. Everyone who knows who he is already watches UFC.

UFC isn't paying $250K win / $250K show (Idk just ballparking how much MVP must make) for somebody who's ceiling is top 10 at max. He's a fun guy but the best he could hope to achieve is finishing a guy like D-Rod, he gets eaten alive by most of the top 15.

Sign him and put him against Paddy at 170.

Considering they have barely sold half the arena for the London card this week, they better get some UK attractions

Wow - 10 years in Bellator?! He should probably just stick around, with the PFL merger hopefully happening there will be fun new match-ups like Ray Cooper. If he goes to UFC, Dana will 100% throw a bunch of wrestlers at him, so that he goes 0-3 and then is let go.

I kinda hope he signs with PFL and fights Cedric Doumbe.

Yeah PFL is the way to go, they can give him lesser known names and favorable matchups.

PFL has a history of this, let's not forget they matched up Brandon Loughnane with shot Marlon Moraes & Shane Burgos with that little Japanese guy.

Same MVP who was beaten by Mike Perry in bkfc?
