Muscle twitching

So ever since I can remember, I very infrequently get these little muscle twitches. It's not very strong - I can see the skin slightly pulling quickly a short distance in a localized spot within an inch. It's happened in my shoulder, inner quad, calf, lower pec etc etc. The frequency is high, maybe around twice a second, but it doesn't last that long, a few minutes on and off, a handful of times a year.

Anyone know what this is?! I don't mind it, I like the feeling for some weird reason. Feeling something completely involuntary is a odd sensation
 
I've experienced this outside of those cases though.

I guess science doesn't know much about those things yet = (
 
I've been getting these a lot too, sometimes my whole body momentarily, usually happens when I'm trying to fall asleep laying in bed.

Don't know what it is
 
I have it often. Usually when I'm really stressed or haven't been sleeping much. Could be related to both.
