Gym/Training Muay Thai Gym Q&A

is that a good gym? it looks hardcore!

Yodvicha ( fighter of the year 2013 ) is currently training out of there, so it has to be. Pinsiam and Visanlek also used to train there.

I've heard they only train foreigners who compete at high level

Not true, unless they recently changed their policy. Jartui has a deal with some Aussie travel company for holiday trainees to come by Saengmorakot.

Also, to add to what Yodsanan said, Petchatsawin Seatransferry trains there too.

ya, RIP.

they have announced it on there facebook page.

I just have trained at Lion Muay Thai in Phuket. I got a good deal and Stupidly I paid for a month training and For the most part it was really bad apart from a couple of good pad holders. I'm returning in a few months and will be going to Sinbi as I did a couple of sessions there and It was quality training. Just my 2 cents.

Which camps have more slick-boxing oriented style(snappy jabs, using ankles etc.) as opposed to heavy-hitting style like sitmonchai/kaewsamrit?

Another Muay Mat Camp I would like to know more about. The fighters seem to be pretty high rankedin Channel 7 Stadium.
And pretty cheap according to SiamFightMag.

Superpro is probably the camp in thailand i have been to that was most boxing technical of all of them.
