Possibly. If the Presidential election were held today, Trump loses Georgia like he did in 2020. Might not even be as close as it was in 2020.

She might be trying to turn into a Kemp like figure. A Republican that stood up to Trump on an important issue. It has worked for Kemp in Georgia. It didn't really work as well for Raffensperger as the GA Republican Party disowned him and he's trailing in the Republican primary polls for the Governor race behind Burt Jones.

I don't think she can pull it off though even if that is what she wanted. Going from basically batshit crazy to "sensible" in a year is a huge leap. If she pulled that off, it would be one of the most insane turn arounds ever.

Its also possible that the death threats just have her spooked and she's going to take her $25 million and ride off in the sunset.

Evangelicals did not hate Palin who was not in the kitchen if i recall. Nikky Haley was the last one standing against Trump.
