Mr. Diaz's Opus, The Full Picture

That punch into choke is really something. I've seen the guy on the back throw punches to get his opponent to lift his chin, but I've never seen someone actually knocked right into the choking arm.

As Conor would say; it was very efficient.

LOL get a life. Who the fuck spends so many time writing all that BS?? I bet no one even read that.

By the way, your ¨Mr Diaz¨ is still a bum from the hood.
And there's our first salty McTapper fan in this thread...

I'm normally super-prepared to shit on a thread like this but goddamn TS, good read and well written.

If you're not writing for the business you should be.

Now I'm trying to remember what the hell Mr. Holland's Opus was about. I could look it up, but fuck it I'm not wasting my time with that. I'll sink my teeth into this thread another time. It looks juicy.

Good shit, TS.

You should write about MMA professionally.

While writing this was on my mind for a day or so, it actually took less than an hour to write.

And Mr. Diaz is loved because of who he is, not in spite on if it.

I envy you for your writing and work ethic, TS. It was one of the greatest fights ever.

Thanks for the encouragement! I genuinely do love writing, I've got 3 unpublished books and would be ecstatic if I was actually offered a paid writing position. My best bet is probably to start a blog and mirror it with posts here- that way I'm doing something instead that might lead to it of just hoping.

In all seriousness though, holy **** how long did it take to write all that?

funny irish dance

I wonder how much he gets payd for that

196 overall was nothing special but the main and co-main delivered.

It was a great fight, but that analysis was so biased and pro-Diaz that it seemed like you wrote the rough draft with Nate's dick.

Reading your goofy review one would think that Nate won the first round which was not at all the case.

It's not really complicated. Conor landed the better shots in round one and when taken down by Nate was able to reverse him, take top position and land a couple of shots (which you mystically failed to see).

In the second round Conor got tired and Nate beat the shit out of him until Conor resorted to a desperation double to avoid getting KO'd. This ultimately led to him getting choked out.

No need to spin doctor it so that you can pretend Nate was winning the parts of the fight that he was not winning.

The punch shoves his head into the choking arm

10/10 for describing this moment , are you a novelist ?

I've watched the fight three times & somehow you've figured a way to make me keep reading as if I never watched it before ..

Well done Sir , you have a bright future as a writer ..

I believe if you watch the fight and read my account at the same time you will find very little to argue with. I mentioned Conor was landing the bombs in round 1, cut diaz, out kicked him, and had top position on the ground- I also mentioned it was his round due to the damage and aggression. I even listed the fight metrics which agree with my account of the events.

Conor did nothing significant on the ground and you'll see it when you rewatch it.

He actually does land a couple shots after he reverses Diaz. You should watch that part again.

Well I didn't list every punch no. He didn't land anything significant on the ground and so the time he was in top position maybe 2 glancing strikes through the guard, this is summed up as "not able to do anything with it."

But I also didn't list an extra 8 uppercuts diaz landed in the clinch or tons of extra details, just what was necessary to tell the story of the fight.
