The Supreme Court effectively laughed at this sort of argument because it would invalidate all marriages that don't produce offspring.

Are you really going to go down that same fox hole...again?

Well you are basing this on nothing but ones race as opposed to the natural biological processes and dynamics involved in creating a family so I would call this point of view racist if anything.

No. I think blacks have natural biological processes and family dynamics which prevent them from having real families. Not just race.

And what is the difference between racism and bigotry? Isn't racism just a type of bigotry?

to be honest, im not sure you know what the word means, im not denying anyone of anything?
You're arguing in favor of denying gay couples equal legal protection.

Also, clearly bigoted:
if I see two men walking down the aisle together, im like "he's gonna stick his thing up his stinkbox". it completely degrades it in my mind, and to see them include god in the vows is not only stupid, its kinda sinister when I think about it...
Now, there are shades of bigotry and you're certainly far from the worst. You seemingly support equal protection and reject discrimination. There is however a disconnect.

So you think there is nothing wrong with going into the house of god (church), and bringing up HIS name in a ceremony that "he" and his billions of followers would despise?. you need to have more empathy

Most gays aren't trying to be married in churches...especially in churches where they are clearly discriminated against.

I'm straight. I wasn't married in a church. God's name was never mentioned. Why can't gays do the same?

(yes...I know you have an example of one such couple that is trying to do so.....)

its what I grew up with, I think marriage is a beautiful thing, I don't think that a couple of men who can only primarily sodomise each other should be a part of that. I like what marriage is to a family, I like the traditions, I like the picture it paints in my mind, if I see two men walking down the aisle together, im like "he's gonna stick his thing up his stinkbox". it completely degrades it in my mind, and to see them include god in the vows is not only stupid, its kinda sinister when I think about it...

So, in the end, you actually have no basis to say that one marriage is more "traditional" than another outside of your OWN personal beliefs. It has nothing to do with tradition, it has nothing to do with religious, it's solely what YOU want marriage to be.

This isn't a very good argument, buddy.

You do know that not all christians and not all christian churches agree with you, right? Also, you've already stated that you don't particularly care about how a church tells you to live your life.

One of many examples:

Why are you trying to infringe on the religious freedoms of these christians?

Your call for empathy seems misdirected.

Adults have been conversing here, you're not welcome.
The fact that you don't know what bigotry means also isn't useful.
No one wants to read you posting for pages upon pages how homosexuals aren't "natural" and that homosexuality is aberrant and that homosexual marriage is not okay, all to conclude that you never really were against gay marriage.

Bingo..

I disagree vehemently what Glennrod has said but at least he has the honesty to admit he's against SSM.
As oppose to the forum fu*ktard, TCK.

TCK, please piss off...

But you are doing the exact same thing...are you not?

those Christians are about as legit as the marriages they support, and that pastor should have been slapped, as well as "defrocked". what a dumbass

I've been to gay weddings performed in Churches. First one was a pentecostal church in the late nineties.

YOU just said you'd tell a priest you'd tell him to fuck off if you'd bring in your GIRLFRIEND and your DAUGHTER into the house of God, bringing your SIN into a church.

You are no longer able to use this argument. You've forfeited it.

But you are doing the exact same thing...are you not?

What is the basis for your view that Christianity must limit marriage to one man and one woman or it isn't Christianity?

Do you have a Bible quote for that?

So, you want your religious views protected and legally enshrined but don't want others to have the same protections if they disagree with you. How is that not bigoted and intolerant?

I'd tell anyone to fuck off, except for jesus Christ and my mother....

Well, to be fair, both the New and Old Testament condemn homosexuality. Of course glennrod picks and chooses which condemnations he agrees with.
