What happened with the UFC being in movie theaters? I preferred that to a loud bar. I also preferred it to paying $60 for it at home. The last time they had one the theater by me was full. I believe that is when Robbie won the title.

I can't pay $60 for 2 fights that both might end in the first round. I was really hoping for a theater. Now I'm searching for a bar.

I've heard they do this sometimes but I've never been. I love the idea and I'd definitely be down to see it in a movie theater.

I just checked, i have no theaters in my shit area hosting. i have a few gift cards i need to get rid of and i'd have went down my lonely ass self to watch the card and get a bit fucked up in the process

I went to the Jones-Cormier fight last year at a theater and it was great. Crowd was quiet, great view of the fights, etc. I don't think they show them at theaters anymore, but I wish they did.

I work for a large theater chain in the U.S.

The deal was struck with a company called Fathom Events and it was for only for about 4 or 5 years if i remember correctly, Zuffa would decide on which events they would play and it was usually only 1 or 2 a year, some they did more. I dont know if that deal is still in place, but with how well the UFC is doing with PPVs so far, why bother making access to your product cheaper?
