Can't beat the dialog in Stand by Me. It was very well done - I imagine that's what I would have sounded like with buddies if somebody had a secret recording from back then.

That and the fade to black quote - "I never had any friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?"

No shit. I hadn't seen the Outsiders in probably 20+ years. Forgot about all of the names in that movie.

Swayze, Dillon, Cruise, Macchio, Estevez, Lowe, etc.

Talk about a tough call; decisions must be made though. Goin with Stand By Me by razor-thin margin due to just slightly better acting and dialogue.
