MOST UNDER RATED BEAT DOWN IN UFC HISTORY

Khabib vs Iaquinta. Yet you have people acting that was close. That was a mauling
Was far from a mauling ... Khabib getting. All hist take downs stuffed... And landing jabs for 5 rounds.. Raging al barley throwing hands and on 2 weeks notice exhausted...

Fight went to decision even if i remember and made khabibs striking game look ametuar as hell..

I feel like Khabib's making Conor tap like a feeble little baby, doesnt get talked about enough. I mean the guy threw a dolly through a bus, said khabib is a glass jawed rat,and all this shit, and Khabib still dominated him and beat him within an inch of his life, havin conor say its only business and begged khabib not to KILL him. Wow. So crazy.

Stipe vs JDS 1, so underrated that they gave the fight to JDS!!!

Randy Couture was/is probably the single most overrated UFC fighter ever. Always has been.

Any fighter that beats prime Chuck Liddell and captures the LHW and HW title multiple times
is not the most overrated fighter ever imo.

Fuck are you on about?

The guy didn't even start fighting until like 36 mate.........he wasn't anything like we see today but he was legit and beat some monsters in dominant fashion. He was a catalyst for shaping MMA popularity and growing the sport.

Show some respect to a true legend mate - and I'm not even a general fan of his.

True, I watched a video on pornhub where he "beat his monster".

Forgotten beatdown? Perhaps penn over Sanchez, since bj hasn’t looked good in so long.

Back then, penn outlanded Diego by dozens of strikes. I recall Diego landed only 8 significant strikes over the course of 5 rounds. Penn also stuffed all 27 of Diego’s takedown attempts. Finally, he finished Diego by doctor stoppage in the 5th round, first time Sanchez ever lost by tko.

That was a brutal one, considering how much damage Deigo could weather in those days. Penn totally outclassed him boxing.

Winning a title five separate times in two divisions in his 30s might have had sometime to do with it.

Then again, in order to win a title five times you have to lose one almost that many times, so...

None of your nerds mentioned a real classic beatdown.

JOE LAUZON VS. GABE RUDIGER

Joe Lauzon bangs Gabe Rudiger like a salvation army drum

I didn’t go through the whole thread, but I counted three separate mentions of Lauzon versus Ruediger prior to yours. To be fair, though, I can’t dispute the nerd accusation, at least on my part. <45>

I was having this conversation with a colleague the other day. I overheard a couple of them saying Stipe would beat Jones and Jones wouldn't have the same success at HW and they could be right... I asked them that exact question, If you had to bet your savings on any fighter against Jones who are you taking. They both smiled and said, "Jones" lol

I personally dont think he is the best fighter he just has the most difficult style to contend with. You take him down which is difficult enough, he IS getting back up quickly. If he takes you down you will eat devastating elbows and likely aren't getting up easy, and he seems to be very difficult to content with because of his reach. He is just a super unique fighter.
He barely beat a handicapped Tiago Santos, man.

DOH, reading is hard I guess. :(

Thanks for the callout though.

Diego sanchez vs Kenny florian almost never gets brought up. so much so that people think forrest griffin is the 1st ultimate fighter winner. which is only true for LHW. It was diego people

Honorable shout out to Kenny florian vs clay guida. 1st round was super competitive then kenny messes him up bad in the 2nd round.

i dont know why everytime these threads come up everyone thinks of the most high profile fights then posts them
