Most technical fight in MMA history?

That was just 5 rounds of Lyoto proving he had no idea how to deal with a roundhouse to the leg/body

Then how come the judges scored 3 rounds for Lyoto? It was a great display of how would a high level karate fighter deal with a high level muay thai specialist. Clash of styles and technique in the highest level.

Except Shogun isn't a "high level muay thai" fighter lmao, and Lyoto didn't come close to winning 3 rds.

Shogun had decent Muay Thai for MMA standards (certainly LHW standards), but he'd get absolutely wrecked standing by any real MT specialist.

If you want to go down the karate vs MT route, Till vs WB was a higher level fight than Shogun vs Lyoto.

Conor 2.0 vs Cowboy Cerrone at UFC 246 for sure.
Blasted his orbital with the jumping shoulder strikes he had invented before using Cowboys own signature headkick to put the last nail in the coffin.
