Most surprising domination?

The dawg should be saying Charles v Islam, cuz the voting was about 75/25 in favor of Charles or something lopsided like that. I remember the fighter picks were also lopsided as fuck in favor of Charles.

It was reasonable to pick Charles to win based on his accomplishments, but people acted like Islam was some unranked scrub.

Then he got taken out in Round 2.
Insanity.

Islam made me rich that day. Charles is not that good on the ground. Hot take I know, but anyone who isn't afraid of fighting him on the ground beats him there. (edgar, Felder, Armen, Pettis, Islam) his ground game is only dangerous when he is aggressor, When he is on the defense he is really bad. One of the more overrated fighters in the history of the sport, but Him losing to Islam was preordain. You'll notice even in the wins to porier and gaethje they both knocked him down but didn't want to capitalize on the floor, Decied to give him a chance to recover. Chandler was less fearful, and almost had got him out of there. Islam was willing to capitalize on knocking him down and charles didn't even defend the sub just laid there and took it, ala Nunes/pena

I wish I had balls to bet, that one I was confident as well for the reasons you mentioned, but I'm afraid to dive into MMA betting.

Just stay out. Aldo will lose a decision he should have won and it'll cost you a whole rack.

Piss me right off.
Yeah, it's so unpredictable and the judges add another layer of craziness. Also, knowing my personality, if I get it a hit, I'll end up chasing another and end up losing everything lol

Max vs Volk 3, the second fight a ton of people gave it to Max. The third one was tough to watch.

This. No one saw this coming. Barao was 34-1, he was nearing Fedor territory undefeated for nearly a decade, and TJ lost a couple fights ago. I don't think anything comes close before and after, how big of an underdog he was, how unlikely the victory was, and how much of a beatdown it was.

This was a PROLONGED beating. Dillshaw on EPO ruined many careers, I bet.

He's disgusting.

he's disgusting but jones is the goat?

this whole EPO shit is bizarre, it matters only when some guys do it

Crazy thing was that khabib called it

Almost everyone including me thought Pettis is gonna win

He looked so good at that time
RDA was (is? I guess?) one of my favourite fighters at the time. I was shocked. I assumed Pettis had learned and improved from the loss to Guida. He'd beaten Cerrone, Bendo and Melendez in a row, three guys who can wrestle (albeit I don't think there was much in those fights, perhaps Gil grinded him the first round? I think I remember that).

That’s a good call.
We’d seen him stifled by caveman/carpenter; but I imagine that quite a few chalked that up to octagon jitters and the fact that it was a 3 round fight (although I’d have to go back and rewatch to determine how much of a factor the latter had been.)

To see him completely shut down and out worked on the feet like that was super surprising.
It was one thing for Guida to do it. He was always well regarded as a grinder, and that was probably his peak form. Didn't think RDA could out do peak Guida in terms of grapple fuckin someone, but he sure did

I was surprised when Mickey Gall dominated the GOAT

I was interested in watching UFC 141 but had to miss it. So when I see the results afterwards and catch that Nate 'Mr. Never came into his own, just got tooled at WW, best win is probably Melvin Guillard' Diaz completely dominated Cowboy on the feet, I honestly couldn't picture it at all. Even knowing the results, since I hadn't seen it, i was always thinking "But did he really? Are you sure?"

Sick of you people posting about these old washed up fights nobody cares about
Yeah, where do people get off on an MMA discussion forum talking about MMA?

God, you're so fucking dumb. Shut up and fuck off.
