NBA Most overrated NBA player of all-time?

Don't ever delete or edit this comment people need to see it so they could laugh and see how clueless you are
Maybe those Betty White throws are good enough for you but I'm gonna need more evidence other than his team carrying him to every Super Bowl.

Curry is the first player to spam 3s like we're playing NBA jam or something. His little brother is a better 3 point shooter and most Steph fans don't even know he has a brother in the NBA.

I dropped off basketball around 2000, but I did watch a bit of Curry, he's the best shooter I've ever seen for sure, unbelievable with his range as well.

Not deep into NBA but from what I've seen, I tend to agree on the assessment of Harden and Westbrook. In general though, winning solves everything. With that in mind, do you think they would still be considered overrated if they hypothetically won a championship?
It depends how they won. If they were along for the ride, probably not.
Carrying over your regular season success to the post season goes a long way in what it says about a player. These guys dropped off.

In the 2000s and on, it's gotta be Carmelo. Before that I might have to say Chris Webber or Penny? John Koncaks 2nd contract with the Hawks was possibly the worst in NBA history.

Carmelo Anthony and it's not even close.
Nah, Melo was overrated when he played. He was a defensive liability his entire career, but he was absolutely an incredible scorer. His biggest problem with transitioning at the end of his career was his insistence on attacking or getting closer to the basket when he could just jump shoot over people. He was a legit scoring threat, and one of the best the league had seen.

He isn't however, one of the best players the league ever seen. I put him above guys like T-Mac.

As great as Jordan was, people pretending he was leagues ahead of the second best player of all time is silly. It's certainly debatable between at least several players at #1. I'd put Bird at #1 all time probably. And I'd put LeBron over him most likely.

Kobe is pretty overrated. But it's generally Laker homers that consider him #1 when he's not top ten.

Curry is also extremely overrated.
Bird was great but he recognized that Jordan was better than him. I think Bird said: "If god could play basketball he would play like Michael Jordan."

Unbecoming to use a player's humility against him.

I feel like Curry is underrated—he should easily be the GOAT.

His performance against Serbia was magical, and that alone should solidify his greatness. But you casuals wouldn’t understand.
