When it comes to intimidation, none do it better than the HORROR STORY himself, Ricky Story.

Story just reminds you of that guy in high school that was a real douche. And now, he's the douche that'll kick your ass.

Just look in his eyes and tell me you aren't quivering in fear. Rick Story just spawned from Satan, hence the flames of hell in the background.

Haha, the nerds and trendies give them a bad name. Go read about Deads suicide or the murders / church burnings that MayheM took part in

Pride Wandy.

Don The Predator Frye had that look about him also.

lolnoob

These quotes are from Mind Games: Psychological Warfare in MMA, an article in issue 56 of Fighters Only magazine.

The psychologist quoted is Joe Bell:

"The best when it comes to the staredown is Fedor Emelianenko. Watch him: he does not make eye contact and his entire expression is extremely relaxed - you would think he is about to sit down for dinner or something.

"But here is the crucial thing. When the referee tells them to head back to their corners, Fedor suddenly darts a short look directly at his opponent - or through his opponent, I should say.

"This kind of look is associated with antisocial behavioural disorders and psychopaths. They don't look at you, they look through you. It's emotionless, it goes deeper than skin level.

"You will get a lot of fighters who will catch that look and suddenly realise they don't want to be there.

Really the biggest load of psychologist bullshit passed off as fact I've ever read.

Woah we're on rotten.com all the sudden, tight.

What is the story here? No idea who that is but looks like he's affiliated with shitty metal music and fat ugly women.

Did he listen to one of his own albums and just decide it was time to take his own life?

I have a similar experience whenever I hear metal music.

i always thought anderson was the best at intimidation

also when reem was full horsemeat HW mode and on top of his game he was pretty savage. he had all those brutal k-1 ko's on his resume as well

Hahahaa.

MayheM basically laid the form for the modern black metal genre 20 years ago. they were anti-religious and burned down christian churches in scandinavia back in the day

think of MayheM as the gangster rap, NWA of metal. they really didnt care if they lived or died.

Per Dead, the first singer, committed suicide, as you can see.

A couple years later, the drummer and original guitarist got in a complicated feud where the guitarist, Euronymous, was going to kill the drummer, but the drummer (Vikernes) found out so he stabbed him to death first in his apartment. Vikernes is free today.

despite all the MAYHEM, death, and obvious public disdain, MayheM (or whats left of it) is still performing today

True, however he does have a point. Fedor's casual look and nonchalant demeanour, right up to the stare-down, was part of his mistique. We all new he was a stone cold killer and such a bad-ass. But he looked like a postman, who had just rocked up to the office on a Monday morning. Not intimidating by looks, but by his actions.

It is true... he could intimidate the most dangerous men in the world, but not the casual idiot on the street. Does that make him umintimidating? Zen paradox.

Also, you should listen to more metal because if you like any music at all you will find a metal version of it, no matter how obscure. Metal isnt mainstream so I understand its hard to find stuff youll like at first.

maybe youll like melodic death metal - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TVZKCwv25Wo

I respect everyone's taste in music but metal and rap are on the same level to me, two genres I just can't get behind because of the message.

Rap is all about having money you don't really have, selling crack, and sleeping with really drunk women. Can't get behind it.

Absolutely no disrespect to you or metal, but I just feel it's really angry/depressive music for younger kids. It's music that keeps people in a hole and I just can't get behind the energy. Too ragey, too much negativity.

You may be surprised to know I still listen to amorphis every now and then when I am lifting though. Drowned Maid is one of the greatest metal songs ever written.

I can do dark, broody, even with a splash of violence. Can't do the evil dark "everyone picks on me" metal though.

I'll check out the song you linked always open to new things!
