Most intimidating fighter past or present?

He didn't even fight his way into the house, but when I first saw Tim Williams I thought, "Holy shit, that guy is terrifying. He looks like something out of a movie." Sunken, blank eyes, bald head, facial scars, ZERO emotion...the guy looks like he wouldn't hesitate to mow down women in a rice paddy from a Huey.

Sorry, Fedor and Cro Cop did NOT "look" intimadting whatsoever. In fact, in Fedor's case I always had to give lengthy preambles t o his fights to friends who didn't know who he was because I was actually embarrassed how he looked and that the greatest fighter in the world looked like a shlub next door. And no, without knowing who he was you wouldn't think he was some crazy psycho or anything else. Just some bald fatish guy.
 
Gary Goodridge was also an intimidating looking fellow.

TS didn't ask who "looked" more intimidating just who was. Guys being asked to fight those guys Im sure were intimidated by the idea of climbing into a ring with them.

How the hell is it not the same?

In the amateurs, Mike Tyson had fighters forfeiting bouts before they even stepped into the ring with him.

If you're crapping in your pants before you even step in the ring with someone, that's intimidation. The op didn't say the most intimidating "looking".
