Bob Sapp has become such a joke and the ultimate proof that appearances can be deceiving, but you're absolutely right. I don't think there can be any fighter ever that LOOKS like he's goint to kick Bob Sapp's ass.

No, Bob Sapp is actually one of the smartest guys out there which is why he seemingly ONLY fights in any country other than America. He had injuries before DREAM closed. When they did not pay him after almost a year he decided he wouldn't take a legit beating for no dollars in case a promoter screwed him over.

That is when he started to throw matches. He is just in it for the money, if people from Poland want to see him get his ass kicked thousands of times in under 30 seconds why shouldn't he take advantage of that? It isn't honorable, but he is trying to make a living while keeping his brains intact.

The staredown for their OWGP fight was great. Cro Cop, in his prime, kicked to the legs and threw a powerful straight left. In the last phase of his career he seemed to get away from this.

In fightville, Dustin Poirier leaned into a guy right before the fight and said "I want this more than you" or something similar. The guy said it really got into his head and he had a hard time in the fight because of it.

i can see that fucking with someone's head. the fight game is much more psychological than some give it credit for.
