Most impressive display of toughness/balls?

Just Igor Vovchanchyn in general.

A 5'8" dude who fought in multiple open-weight, no holds barred MMA tournaments back in the day where you'd often have to fight 3-4 times in 1 night. He won 3 NBH tournaments (9 fights) in March 1996 alone.

Faber also fought with two broken hands and was winging elbows dude is tough as nails.
Barao also broke his ribs and Faber lasted to a decision. There is no questioning his toughness.

Well as of relatively recently I'd say
40+ year old Randy getting in there with a 10+ year old and a 50lb+ bigger Brock
Maldando stepping in against Stipe
Latifi moving up to fight Derick Lewis

Inoue vs Igor
Renzo vs Saku
Glover vs Brawldonado
Nog vs Sapp
Robby vs Ares
Shogun vs Dan

Rich Franklin knocked out Chuck with a broken arm. That needs to be considered.
Kod him with the broken hand and all but I gotta go with shogun vs hendo first fight I thought the fight was over three times but he somehow managed to survive and win rest of the fight.

From this year, I would say Josh Emmett showed insane toughness. He torn ACL at the beginning of the first round against Shane Burgos and somehow managed to win that fight.

PVZ won me over as a fan against rose. She could have quit anytime and held on.

Also breaks her arm against Jessica Rose Clark and still presses on. Though in that case it would have been better if she quit, she's had problem with that arm ever since.

Shouts to dudes like Saku, Kondo and even Minowaman for fighting way above their weight class.

That was an amazing fight! Thatch looked like a killer before he fought Bendo. The thing that stood out the most to me was the size difference; Thatch was basically a middleweight cutting down to 170lbs, and he fully looked two weight classes bigger than Bendo. That's one of my favorite performances from 'Smooth'.
That fight broke Thatch imo
