Most impressive display of toughness/balls?

Probably not the biggest display of grit but I found Wonderboy’s survival of Woodley’s beatdown and ensuing choke very impressive.
Wonderboy has underrated toughness. Also it's impossible to get under his skin. I think his secret is he's been competing for so long that he truly sees it as a game/competition and nothing more. The idea of taking anything personal does not compute with WB.

Can’t remember her name but the girl whose ear was hanging by a thread and wanted to continue.

Josh Koscheck continually getting a GSP jab to his already broken orbital bone.

Both looked painful and needed surgery after the fight.

That time Fedor disarmed the guy that pulled a gun on his friends. G.o.a.t

Enson got a bruised brain against Igor.

He couldn't stand but he still wanted to fight.

and Saku vs was it Smirnovas or Galesic?

Frankie Edgar in the second and third Maynard fights. Ref could have called a stop to it multiple times and he just kept surviving with the most grit I've ever seen

All of the guys who competed in the first UFC. A lot of people turned it down. It's easy to say now after almost 30 years that MMA isn't really THAT dangerous compared to other sports, but no one really had any idea back then. Pancrase and Vale Tudo was not the same thing.

Nowadays we bitch about "early stoppages" and stuff like that - in 1993 no one knew what a stoppage would even entail and how you'd even determine it.
