Most humiliating defeat in an UFC's title fight

Wow, never seen anyone completely make shit up quite so convincingly. Shit man, Conor even took a round.

In a way that made it worse. He couldn’t say Khabib just panic-wrestled and then laid on him. He got dropped, battered and submitted. I know that it was the wrestling that made it all possible and Conor has a 1-2 round gas tank, but I do think having more than a round of striking and having very minimal success makes it worse in some ways.

A nasty loss is just a nasty loss.

I see humiliating as something more like someone talks a whole lot of shit and then gets wrecked.

Kos talked a fair amount of trash before GSP II.

BJ did in his rematch with Georges, also.
I tend to agree with the general idea, but I don't think Kos-GSP II is a good example.
Because a) Koscheck's trash talk for that fight was obviously 'just for show' and b) he already clearly lost the first gight and most

Koscheck's trash talk for that fight was pretty obviously "just for show", he already had a (n uncontroversial) loss to GSP, and most people didn't expect him to win the second fight.

Because we'd never seen Shogun get his ass handed to him like he did against JJ. He was never the same after that.
Well he has tapped to strikes several times. Pretty weak of a fighter to tap to strikes.

ronda vs holm
joe rogan keep saying ronda can beat cain haha
and here ronda thinks its true and got humiliated
u can say conor vs aldo was a fluke
same as to weidman vs silva

but rondas defeat was way more humiliating imo

Holm/Ronda
Conor/Aldo
Serra/GSP I
Werdum/Stipe
Jones/Shogun
Silva/Weidman I (just because of the clowning—Silva was already 40 when this fight happened)

Just to name a few

JDS vs Cain 1 was a major deal with Cain getting KTFO on UFCs first event with Fox

Out of the ones you listed it's definitely Rousey vs Holm, and I don't think it's close. In that fight, Ronda was unable to do anything to Holm at all. She got absolutely shut down and demolished, she was fumbling around desperately trying to make anything work, but she simply couldn't, then she got brutally knocked out with a head kick.

Conor vs Aldo, although not great for Aldo due to all the trash talk etc, is probably the best way it could have ended for Aldo (outside of a win), because the fight didn't go long enough for us to actually see much of their skills against one another. Many can still argue that Aldo would beat Conor in a rematch and that he only lost due to emotion and rushing forward early.

There's no shame in Gane losing to Jones, who many consider to be the GOAT. He got taken down and choked out. It didn't last long, it was what it was.

Silva losing to Weidman wasn't really humiliating, I don't think. Weidman was simply the better fighter on both occasions.

Not when you been getting you ass whooped for the whole fight and you know you're done.

Tapping to strikes is the cowards way out. Especially when you tap to strikes as much as shogun.

Ronda vs Holm. Prefight she was talking about beating Cain under the right circumstances and beating other men. And she got absolutely smoked and humiliated by a huge underdog.

Conor/Aldo, the fight ended with one punch. While I was rooting for Conor, that was just a terrible night for Aldo and Conor was at his peak.

Gane/Jones, Jones was actually the favourite in a lot on places, especially because he has a big advantage with wrestling.

Silva/Weidman, while an upset, wasn't really humiliating.

after all that machismo and threatening behaviour .. to just .. shit the bed .. lol

GSP vs Serra is #1 most embarrassing title fight. The way he tapped is why so many people find it hard to see him as GOAT.

Miocic vs DC 1 is a close second. Miocic was getting eyepoked right and left and he did little to nothing to protest the eyepokes. The only brief recovery time he was given for a single eye-poke he didn't take advantage of because he's too proud. DC cheated and proceeded to knock him out, and then he made a mockery of Stipe by bringing Lesnar in and completely ignoring/dismissing Stipe. Stipe wasn't even given a post-fight interview.

Franklin vs. Quarry.

Coined the phrase “got Quarry’d”. Shame you don’t hear that much anymore. Different era I guess.

that's fine, but his entire post was still revisionist history lol
