Ryan Bader fighting scared, shooting very quickly, and then holding onto a terrible kimura attempt before getting knocked out cold. This was embarrassing to watch live.


Although an easy one, Askren against Masvidal has to be up there. I don’t think it’s been mentioned yet. There was some beef and Askren had his undefeated record obliterated in 2 seconds. He was stiff as a board, turned into a meme, and Masvidal clowned him whilst he was astral travelling.

Conor's power is not a myth. He absolutley does hit hard. But he hit harder at 145 than he did at 155

It's more of a myth at this point that "Conor didn't have power". As you said, he obviously did have power (and precision, and speed...)

And even if he didn't have the power at 155 that he had at 145, he still knocked down Alvarez like 4 times and ko'ed him, knocked down Nate 3 times, finished Cowboy.

The myth of Conor not having power is more based on him being generally despised (which is understandable), so people feel inclined to hate on every aspect of his game and accomplishments.

I’ve never seen someone so visibly scared in the octagon. I’m not even mad at Bader, either. Rumble was just terrifying at that point. That was the kind of beating that felt more like an assault.
