Regarding your first 2 paragraphs, it doesn’t sound like we disagree much. My only disagreement is that I think NYT, NPR, and WSJ are pretty solid outlets overall. They’re not 100% neutral, almost no outlet truly is; but their biases are pretty slight to moderate imo.My question wasn't partisan at all, I was just making the point that some of these are real problems. Most MSM is shit and I'd include NYT, WSJ and NPR in that list. Reuters and AP seem fine and neutral to me.
Yes, Fox falls under the same umbrella of shit MSM and the conservatives play a big role in the border crisis as well.
These same democrats who are now on board with the bi-partisan border bill will probably be the ones blocking it next year if Trump wins.
I can totally agree that some mainstream outlets are sloppy, do shitty research, or are click-baity. What I push back on is the people who will only trust Newsmax or some trash and nothing anyone else says matters.
As far as immigration bills, we’ll see in time I guess. If the exact same bill that Dems support now was put back in front of them under a Trump administration and they wouldn’t support it when they previously did, I’d absolutely call that out.
