Social Most divisive thing you have heard a president say

My question wasn't partisan at all, I was just making the point that some of these are real problems. Most MSM is shit and I'd include NYT, WSJ and NPR in that list. Reuters and AP seem fine and neutral to me.

Yes, Fox falls under the same umbrella of shit MSM and the conservatives play a big role in the border crisis as well.

These same democrats who are now on board with the bi-partisan border bill will probably be the ones blocking it next year if Trump wins.
Regarding your first 2 paragraphs, it doesn’t sound like we disagree much. My only disagreement is that I think NYT, NPR, and WSJ are pretty solid outlets overall. They’re not 100% neutral, almost no outlet truly is; but their biases are pretty slight to moderate imo.
I can totally agree that some mainstream outlets are sloppy, do shitty research, or are click-baity. What I push back on is the people who will only trust Newsmax or some trash and nothing anyone else says matters.

As far as immigration bills, we’ll see in time I guess. If the exact same bill that Dems support now was put back in front of them under a Trump administration and they wouldn’t support it when they previously did, I’d absolutely call that out.

If you don't care that Trump is a despicable liar who intentionally divides the country, it's because you're so selfish that you only care about yourself

I see the lefties are starting to process their inevitable loss in November early. That's probably for the best.

Gore and Hillary did the same thing.
Absolutely not.

All Gore did was file a very relevant legal challenge. In 2000, FL didn’t have a statewide recount law, it varied county by county. Gore’s lawsuit essentially just said “How are we counting these votes in the recount? Are we counting votes with hanging chads or not? Are we counting dimpled chads or not?” The SCOTUS agreed with that part actually, and told FL their recount laws violated the Equal Protection Clause and to fix it. Gore never claimed fraud, never spread lies.

Hillary conceded like the next day and never filed a single legal challenge. She was salty, sure; but when Congress met to certify that election it was done in like 30 minutes. It was nothing like what Trump did in 2020.

NYT, NPR and WSJ market themselves as more classy and for the educated/smart. There's definitely not as much clickbait or straight up lies, the bias is a bit more subtle and a lot of it also lies in which stories they pick to focus on.

Yeah, I don’t necessarily disagree. I was talking about this recently in another thread, but I was saying that as long as an outlet has a high factual accuracy, I can deal with a moderate bias. But I try to read both NYT and WSJ, for example, because one skews slightly left and the other slightly right. I try to get news from a variety of sources, Reuters and AP are my preferred because they’re very highly accurate and also pretty darn close to neutral.

And you guys do the EXACT same thing. There is difinitive proof Biden showered with his fucking daughter way past an appropriate age....she admitted it. She verified the diary. And yet Libs in here go "What about Trump". "Trump sleeps with a porn star". The hypocrisy at calling out hypocrisy is astounding from the left. Both sides do exactly the same thing, but you guys whine about it to no end. Inflation is through the roof, every American feels it....but the economy is thriving beacuse Biden is President. Fucking asshats.
Not sure who you're talking about but I've never denied that. That looks really really bad. I'm not one of the lefties you're talking about. I'm hated on both sides because I always tell the truth.

"Frankly, we did win this election."

The lasting damage from this single sentence is going to take generations to clean up. It is literally a party loyalty litmus test among Republicans right now in our country to refuse to accept election results if they don't win. No matter how polarized or divided we are, or how black/white, good/evil your worldview, accepting the pendulum swing of "win some, lose some" is what has kept us together. It's crazy that there are 19 pages of debate when this quote is only about 3.5 years old. Nothing comes close.

This is the actual answer to the question. If Trump had gone up on stage that night and said "We fought hard and lost this one, but we'll come back stronger in 4 years!" the entire political landscape of this country would be vastly different.

But Hillary was right and he's a total piece of shit, so he let his narcissism control him, and his tens of millions of cultists followed suit, and still refuse to acknowledge reality almost 4 years later.

What is your response to the first video in this quote:
I agree, when the Democrats didn't accept the election results it was truly horrific, including the current president and vice president, former presidents and top ranking democrat politicians:

On the topic of divisiveness, let's take a look at some mainstream media takes on Trump if he wins again in 2024:

Where after the election, Hillary, Biden, Kamala and other popular democrats said that Trump was an illegitimate president?

The headof the tories just called for breakdown of their government. Why? Because these losers are terrified they did not implement the brexit agenda. Basically terrified they were losers who pretended they were BREXIT (MAGA), and caved every single time.

This is why we need trump. We have to overcome this uniparty class. Yes, I will admit he had too much to manage taking over in 2016

But look at everything he has hammered out about the corrupt DOJ and FBI, who wished he was home to execute him and Barron. Pray for these patriots.

Trump, Biden, and Obama, the most powerful men in the world, and all they do is wank and cry. At least W felt like a winner.

It's always some indefinable vague shit with these clowns, and thank Christ people are waking up to it.

Hence, why they are riding the vague "fight for democracy"...even though that same democracy gives people the choice to vote for someone leftists don't like. Can't have that in a "democracy". No sir!
It’s putting a lid on jumping fleas.

Gone up on stage what night? Trump was still ahead on election night. The polls were already closed when they started wheeling in igloo coolers full of ballots and boarding up windows and bursting pipes. Why would he say "we fought hard and lost" when he was still ahead?

And GTFO with "Hillary was right". She and the entire democrat party spent years after losing the 2016 election shouting from the rooftops that it was stolen by Putin and Trump was a Russian agent, and nearly 40% of democrats didn't trust the 2020 election either like a week before it happened, then as soon as they got the result the wanted, suddenly the number jumps up to 93% declaring "yep, that was the fairest election in history".

So in other words, the election wasn't fair because the candidate who lost was ahead at one point before they finished counting votes? When your favorite sports team is ahead in the 3rd quarter of the big game, and goes on to lose, do you not only claim that they were the rightful winner, but believe it with enough conviction to fly championship banners and wear t-shirts/hats?

Don’t forget diapers. They’re wearing diapers now.

It is incredibly offensive and hyper decisive of America not to install Trump as president even though he clearly lost. All you have to do to prevent civil war and calm us down is make Trump president again regardless of the results of voting. - MAGA Voters

Good lap dog. Keep repeating the lies. It's what we expect of you.

Lol...he still says he won the 2020 election weekly and that it was stolen, rigged and fraudulent...to this day. Calling me a lapdog while that criminal wannabe daughter fucker you're gonna vote for talks out of both sides of his mouth is rich, even for a disingenuous Trump lackey like yourself.
