Most disappointing match, ever?

Lesnar - Goldberg.

Absolutely terrible. Lesnar was on his way out at the time (think they both were?) and you could just tell no shits were given.

I quit watching WWF for a while once Lesnar left.

Nothing will beat Starrcade 1997. If there could be one 'do over' in pro wrestling history....

Amazing how Hulk Hogan was WCW's biggest draw, but he had most of the worst matches in the main events of their PPVs.

WCW never had a huge PPV customer base, probably because of this.

He screwed up the huge match with Sting, Warrior, and I recall the matches with Piper being stinkers as well.

tna where jeff was drugged out

Every CM Punk match in WWECW, you hear about his guy being great with 5 star ratings and you see this sloppy fuck throwing shitty kicks and even worse dives. Very disappointing.

How can Hogan vs Warrior 2 not be the only answer? A botched fireball? Horace Hogan?!!

I was just about to post something very similar, many ppvs were sold on his name alone but come time for his match it was pretty much guaranteed to be a disappointment.

The guys that could've carried him to a good match never really got a shot in WCW.

This thread made me look up Warrior / Hogan 2 and it was amazing. This link (link) has the fight with someone doing commentary over it just to highlight all the goofy fuck-ups. The meth lab in Hogan's pants... Warrior's lazy-child roll the brought Hogan to his knees... unbelievable.

it's funny that Hogan wrestled the same against Warrior as he did Sting. gave them no offense and pretty much beat them down for the whole match.

Brock vs Goldberg
HBK vs Stone Cold ( expected more )

Was bummed I never got the prime face Bret Hart vs face Hogan "pass the torch" match that should have happened after WM9

TS post nailed it.

Goldberg vs Lesnar was suppose to be a freakin battle of 2 of the most dominant guys in recent years.
