Baltimore, a city that pops up from time to time on these boards. And before I go and wiki the subject, can anyone tell me if the police in this city and state are more easy to be corrupted than other cities in US? And i would clarify that "the Wire" did not cloud my mind.

His name is Wayne Jenkins, and of course he sobbed in court.

This case highlights why there is often such distrust between the community and the police force. These cases draw some national attention once the officers are caught, but the community knew about this all along. They watch this abuse of power on a regular basis, and they know there is nothing that they can do about it because nobody listens to, or cares, about communities like theirs.

This single "gang" of officers, led by Sobbing Wayne Jenkins, destroyed an untold number of lives.

A life sentence is a life sentence, 25 years is 25 years

When you hear 25 to life that usually means the sentence is at a minimum of 25 years and a maximum of life. Definitions sometimes change by state so maybe it’s different where you live
