No its 12,000 to show and 12,000 to win. Thats what most UFC new fighters get. Its actually decent imo for unproven talent with no following (typically)

If they fight and win 3X times a year they get 72k payday and also get money from Venum. So they get pretty close to 80k a year. Its really not as bad as before but people always wanna act like new UFC fighters are starving lol.

Of course if they suck and dont win any fights its much lower pay but if you cant win your fights then pro mma may not be the career for them.

But that's the best case scenario and you're not counting their expenses.

I think that since the UFC is the main org, the base pay should be higher. Really don't care for fighters that are making 600k a fight arguing that they want 1 million. Specially since those are the guys fighting once a year. But the lower end guys should (and could) get a bit more.

Pretty much this. Back when he was with Bellator and was constantly asked about a potential jump to UFC, he'd always go on about how he couldn't care less if he ever fought for the promotion and was content with being a Bellator lifer, as they had always been great to him. Then, after he ko'd Henderson, he practically priced himself out of negotiations for signing a new deal.
